I don't usually care enough to write a review. BUT the pictures of this hotel is misleading. our room did not look anything like the picture. It is an absolute nightmare. Graffiti on the walls and furniture, burn marks on countertops, had no TV remote, random stains and holes on the walls and even on lamp shades. to top it off we found a used NEEDLE. i was there with my two children and I am currently pregnant i felt like just breathing the hotel air was enough to catch a disease. absolutely 0/10. We stayed here during a little vacation we took from Edmonton to visit Waskesui Lake. We decided to stay in Prince Albert at the Ramada. This was one of the worst Ramada rooms we have ever stayed in. Maybe even one of the worst hotel rooms as well. We stayed on the main floor and requested a non-smoking room. Unfortunately the non-smoking and smoking rooms seem to be inter-mingled on the main floor where we stayed so if you stepped into the hall it reeked of smoke from other rooms. The smell didn't seep into our room though otherwise we wouldn't have requested a room move. We didn't have much need to use the main hallway as we had an outside door to the parking lot. Our room was not in the greatest of states. Things falling apart such as the shower curtain was almost falling off the wall. We had to tape one side to keep it closed because it sagged to the middle. The toilet was loose on the floor. Tiles were poorly repaired. Air vents were filthy. The bed was well used and probably should have been replaced long ago. This was the worst mattress I have ever had in a hotel. I did take pictures of all of this and was going to post them with my review but I didn't think it was fair as I am hoping most of the rooms are not in the same state as this one. If you decide to stay here I would suggest staying off the main floor. I suspect a lot of truckers stay here and the bottom floors get a lot of use and abuse compared to the other floors. The front desk staff were very pleasant and nice to deal with. We didn't make a big deal about the room as we were just staying a few days and would mostly be out at the lake. I don't think I would stay at this location again. I do expect a lot better experience from a Ramada Hotel. read more

Our car broke down on the way home from La Ronge and we needed a hotel that would accept dogs, Ramada did. The staff was very friendly and even let us extend our check out time for a reasonable fee. I have to say though that the hotel itself has seen better days. We might stay there again because of how nice the staff was. read more

Pros * Late check in successful, room was waiting! * Casino coupon on request - daily * I cancelled my original reservation ($113/night for 3 nights) and booked through Hotels.com for a better rate $101/night for 3 nights - but I didn't know Ramada/Wyndham do rate price-matching if you find a better rate -10% if you call them. Too bad we didn't know before we arrived. * 1st floor rooms have exterior doors - you can park right outside. * Room had a mini bar fridge & microwave * Bath robe * Makeup removal cloth... brown...I understand why, but it's colour is a bit off-putting. Disposable would be my recommendation in future. * Location - next to mall, Safeway, KFC, Venice House Pizza, close to gas, casino etc * Free wifi but you have to reconnect daily. * A/C works well * Ironing board & iron in the room. * light blocking curtains * Hair dryer * My other half really liked the soap bar products and shampoo. * Continental Breakfast was very diverse, from pancakes, to muffins, bagels, toast, microwave, yogurt, dry cereal, juices, eggs, bacon, fruit...I'm sure I missed something, but great hours if you aren't an early riser! 6am-10am Cons * Ammonia? smell in room * Worn towels * Cigarette burns on furniture * Bed worn out - Sleeping with my butt lower than my feet and head is NOT comfort. * Bed really noisy - definitely not a bowling ball mattress. * Door to bathroom doesn't close without a forceful shove * Bathroom curtain shower rod 1/2 hanging. Water runs out of shower because curtain doesn't stay closed - either wasn't hung properly or someone yanked on it-instead of curving out, curved down. Sad shower curtain. * Tiles in tub not all secured to wall or cracked * Bathroom countertop sagged/not well secured * Toilet not secured, clunks when you sit - eek! * Door to toilet clearance challenging when trying to maneuver around the door and toilet to close it. * Sink faucet keeps dropping pressure at low so you keep having to nudge it up * Tub stopper won't stay up for shower * Thick lint on bathroom vent. Hasn't been cleaned in quite some time. * No exhaust fan in bathroom * Creaky/flexing floor. Never had that problem in a main floor room * Worn fabric on bench seat. * Cigarette smell in a non- smoking room. * Hallway cigarette smoking smell/cloud-icky. Not a non-smoking floor. Nit-picky bits * Renovated? Not our room. Radiator cover not fastened well to wall * Crown trim, they tried to do professional run joining 2 pieces w/angle cut, but either the Alex didn't dry before painting, or they didn't use the right product * Tuck tape repair on exterior mini roof over next door * Hardly any guests in the hotel on a Sunday night, but they put a smoker next to us who smoked outside our window. Why? Space the guests out. * Not quite the quality of other Ramada hotels I've stayed in elsewhere They contacted me by email for feedback, and I will be sharing my observations with them. I wish there was something less than one star. Stayed at this hotel for one night last week because it was cheap. The place is a total dump you can hear everything from the other rooms. It doesn't look clean and the worst part is I have bite marks all over my legs... BED BUGS??????? I dunno but stay far away from this dump!!!!! read more

Terrible terrible hotel, checked in at four, was surprised my room wasn't ready, but was told ten minutes. It is now five fifteen and the maids are standing in the lobby having their break. This kind of thing normally wouldn't bother me if the desk clerk was apologetic at all, instead I'm being made to feel like a burden. Maybe I'm being unfair because I'm annoyed, but I'm just assuming the rooms can't be great by the state of the outside of the hotel and the state of the staff here. read more

Stayed at this location and I have to say I will never stay there again!!! Front desk staff are quite nice and friendly which is something that should be expected but they have a bar at this location that is full of crackheads!!! Went in for a beer to watch the hockey game and you can't charge to your room which is fine but you have to pay for your drinks immediately so that just goes to show what type of place your trying to have a beer in.... Quite surprised that ramada actually allows this type of environment in their hotel... Other than feeling like your gonna get robbed the hotel room wasn't too bad!!!! read more
