He lost…read moremy paperwork, when it was located I asked for it back to take it somewhere else, lost it again, once found he had signed and initialed it (saying it was received and reviewed) but yet he had no idea why I was there. I called and emailed a request for him to call me about my lost results. Dr. Krcik refused to call me as a patient under his direct care. When I emailed him in the livewell app, I got a respond from his staff saying "He will never call you". When I contacted the CEO to complain I was just treated like a criminal and later Dr. Krcik recommended me to another doctor, just to get me out of his hair. He falsified his appointment notes to make it seem he was more helpful than he was. Dr. Krcik wasted my time, money and allowed my prolonged pain for over 6 months. His facility in South Elgin is disorganized, the staff are self righteous and Dr. Krcik only cares about himself.

Last year when this happened i asked why I was billed, was told because i asked the doctor a question so, this year i asked no questions....still got billed for an office visit. the explanation was that i have additional diagnosis,isn't this something as the patient I should have been notified of? Seems a little deceitful. Won't be going back! I will be contacting Blue cross Blue shield to see if this is a common pracitice..... if I had been told there additional charges for additional items. i would have been fine paying the bill. seems by not notifying patients of this pratice they are just trying to pad the bill!!!

He answers all of your questions and makes sure you understand everything. He has a great sense of humor and makes you feel comfortable even on the first visit. After hours, he calls you himself with test results and explains them to you. I'm not sure when he ever goes home to rest. I wish he could be cloned, so that more people would have the opportunity to be treated by such a compassionate doctor.

They were always slow to see me and quick to leave... And then there were the sterile (har) personalities. So imagine my shock when, several years ago, I met Laura Demarco-Paitl, doctor extraordinaire. She completely broke the stereotype created by my former experiences. She is the most down to earth doctor that I have ever come across (whenever she's leaving me a voice-mail she starts with "Hi this is Laura" in a super upbeat friendly voice), she's kind (even when delivering harder news and knowing that I am always hard on myself, she's always like "it's not as bad as you thought and here's what we can do"), she's personal (asks me about my dogs EVERY time I see her, and prior to this month I hadn't seen her for six). She takes her time with me, sympathizes with my adversion to needles, and always, always makes sure that I understand what's up with my everything. I have recommended numerous folks to her and every single one of them adore her as much as I do. I even debated not writing this review because I'm selfish and don't want to have to wait to see her. But that wouldn't be very yelp-y of me now would it? Alas, nothing is 100% perfect and the drawback I have is being able to get in RIGHTNOW. If I'm sick enough to call I want to see her that day, not the next. There's been only a few times that I haven't gotten my sickly (and therefore extra whiney) way immediately, and it's annoying but I understand. I have to share this remarkable woman with the other injured and sick. But I am so comfortable and trust her so much that I deal with it. And make sure to book any foreseeable appointments months in advance because she's definitely worth it. I highly recommend that you do the same.

Both my husband and I have been with his practice for 5 years. Everyone is kind and professional and efficient. Appts are easy to make. Waiting time, if any, is brief. They listen to what you say, you're never made to feel rushed, they give you options, and they guide you to the best path of treatment. Labs can be drawn there with results given within appropriate times. Return calls are always completed.
