I appreciate the direct and frank way Dr. Lesser and I can speak to one another. Sometimes in a very humorous, epitaph-filled way. He and his staff really listen to me, don't rush me, and make it as pleasant and hassle-free as possible. He's older like me so he "gets" a guy. But, I took my fiancee to see him and they hit it off too. Seriously, how many couples do that and afterwards feel like it was fun? While he is my doctor, I feel like he's a friend and trusted confidant. He doesn't judge and doesn't force. That's the kind of doctor for me.

He could easily win the primary care doctor of the year award, in my opinion. I have to be honest; I am not a huge fan of doctors or the medical field, for the most part. I have had some pretty awful and traumatizing experiences at the hands of the medical profession over the course of my life, and so I had been without a primary care doctor for a number of years before I found Dr. Chung. I was going with the, if I don't think about it I'll be fine mentality. However, it became clear I really did need to see a doctor, and so an extended family member suggested I see a colleague of his, who was not taking patients. Dr. Chung was new to the practice, and so I thought, okay, I guess I could give him a try, but I steeled myself, for what I assumed would be a horrible experience. My first visit with Dr. Chung was a game changer. I wanted to hug him after my visit and all of his staff as well. He LISTENED! HE LISTENED! HE CLEARLY ACTUALLY HEARD WHAT I HAD SAID TO HIM. HE MADE OBSERVATIONS AND SUGGESTIONS! HE NEVER GAVE ORDERS. He was, at ALL times, respectful, thoughtful and I felt so comfortable with him. In the past 5 or so years that I have been Dr. Chung's patient, I have never had a negative experience with his practice, (Okay, one time, one of the office staff was crabby, but hey, we all have off days sometimes, and it wasn't a big deal, just a tiny bit of edge). After I met Dr. Chung, I immediately scheduled my kids, and my mom with him, and now pretty much my entire family call Dr. Chung when they need a doctor. Seriously, he's an awesome doctor! I wish he could clone himself. Oh, by the way, the rest of the practice is pretty amazing too. I've occasionally had to see Dr. Chung's colleagues when he's been on vacation and they are just as awesome as he is. The support staff are great too; very kind, thoughtful, gentle, non-frightening, and so comfortable to be with. Thank you Signature Medical Group, you've changed my mind about doctors.

I was just released from the hospital after having 2 surgeries. I also have a chronic pain issue…read more I called this office and explained that I needed a new primary care doctor to continue to refill my pain medications. They agreed to help. They required me to change my primary care doctor with insurance, so I did and made an appointment. At the appointment he walked in and said "I do not treat pain here!" He did this without even looking at the 2 inch thick stack of paperwork, nor did he look at the surgeries I had just days prior. I believe he is trying to scam insurance companies for the initial visits and has no interest in helping anyone. Treated me incredibly rude and without any respect. Do not waste your time with this person.

After seeing 9 doctors and specialists within 12…read moremonths, I was ready to give up on the idea that there were any medical professionals left who would care to help me, let alone just listen to me before making medical decisions. Prior to my first appointment, I made the decision that Complete Family Wellness would be my last attempt at finding a medical professional to help me. The owner, and my provider Helen Muchow FNP-BC, FPA, APRN, MSN, changed my quality of life from 5% to 80% in my FIRST visit. We are currently working on the other 20% (mostly due to medical insurance roadblocks). Helen was not only professional, but actually LISTENED to every word I was saying, then took that information and developed a care plan WITH me, instead of just telling me what to do and sending me on my way with a prescription. I've been seeing Helen for over a year now, and her quality of care has not changed, even as she has taken over her staff's caseload as she is on maternity leave. I was a medical provider myself, so I understand the back-end (billing, insurance, etc). She does not rush through my appointment, like every other doctor/specialist I've seen, just to be able to see more patients in a day= more $$= $$ above "doing no harm." Most insurance companies will pay a higher rate for the first 15 minutes of an appointment, and a lower rate is paid for any time over 15 minutes. Helen takes the time to get her job done- above and beyond! Complete Family Wellness also has an on-site lab, so most standard blood work, and other labs can be done right away, during your appointment. Did I mention? Complete Family Wellness also has MOBILE services! They will come to you, in the comfort of your own home. Additionally, Helen is a veteran and accepts military insurance (Tricare West), which many providers do not accept due to Tricare's very low rates- yet another way she demonstrates how dedicated she is in helping people, and not treating us like cogs. On top of all this, Complete Family Wellness's staff are professional, very prompt in responding to any problems that come up between appointments, and make you feel like you matter!

Office manager Anne W. is a piece of work. She lied to and about me, called police to my house…read more(huh???) and blocked me on the patient portal for many hours. Even my insurance company says they've never dealt with anyone like her. Sadly, I fear my FPN Jamie Basten also did not have my wellbeing in mind judging from her unresponsiveness to my medication needs. Helen is a no go, too. They have spent time returning phone calls personally and we have never felt rushed. They are prompt with appointments when we visit the office and the wait time is not long. The only drawback is the rudeness of the front office staff. They are abrupt and rude on the phone and and it can be very difficult to schedule a last minute appointment if you are ill. It feels like you have to fight to get an appointment when you need to be seen on short notice. Our family continues to go because the doctors are great and I feel they follow our care thoroughly.
