Very fast estimate. Carlos was very nice & explaining every step on fixing my vehicle.read more

Update: got the car back, these guys really don't know what they are doing. Interior covered in…read moreoverspray, all my carbon fiber trim feels like sandpaper, water damage on door panels, paint work was crap. Carlos lied and said he did an alignment and all suspension was good but the control arms are still bent and car drives sideways. These guys charged my insurance $8500 for an $800 job and still didn't fix anything. Car is junk now....Oh boy there's so much more I can say but I won't. Just DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO NO LIMIT!!! They will tell you whatever you want to hear and will not deliver..... Hey Carlos, since you won't answer my texts and keep dodging me, how about a refund and I'll bring the car to someone that knows what they are doing. Car has been in the shop since April 15. Expected completion date was may 10. On May 14 Carlos says the car will be completed on may 15 and he will cover the cost of the additional rental days. On may 17 Carlos said the car was ready. Upon arriving to pick up the car, I noticed the car was not done correctly. Carlos agreed and said I couldn't leave with the car in that condition. Carlos claimed it would be ready in a week. On June 2nd I reached out for an updated date and received no response On June 6th I reached out again saying I just needed confirmation the rental was still being covered. Carlos stated it is and it will be ready in a week. On June 24 I reached out again for an update with no response. On July 3rd, today I called and Carlos said the car still isn't ready due to paint issues and will need two more days. Now it's August 13th and proceeding with legal action.

This body shop was a referral from my car insurance company State Farm. I chose them from other…read moreshops on the list because of their location. When I went for my preliminary estimate on front end bumper damage on my Honda CRV, I arrange to have my car fixed during my February break from school. When I called to finalize the arrangements, I was informed my car would be in their shop for 30 days due to parts. I told them that was longer than I expected to rent a car. I thought that car would only be in the shop for a week. I further expressed that I didn't feel comfortable about driving a rent a car to work as it a city environment, and I would be fearful that the rent car could get damaged in some way. The body shop representative told me that I could bring in the car when school ends. When June rolled around I call my State Farm Agent and checked to see if the claim would still be covered and she said yes. She than inquired why I waited so long. I told her that I was informed by Nanuet Collision that the car would be in their shop for at least a month. My State Farm agent said that seem like an excessive time frame to wait for bumper repair. She offered to give them a call. When she gave me a return call, she informed me that they told her if I could give them a $ 100 cash only deposit towards parts that they may speed up the process. So, I did on June 19th, 2023. On June 27th , 2023. I dropped off my car at Nanuet Collision. Within a day or two I got continuous email updated informing me my car would be ready Friday, June 7th, On Thursday June 6th , I called to find out when I could pick up my car and Friday. Nanuet Collision representative retorted, " Where did you get that idea that your car would be ready Friday", I told her from the emails updates I have been receiving from Nanuet Collision. She then said, " You can't go by those emails." Oh, then what should I go by", " You wait for a call from us". I then said, my rent a car is ending soon". The rep replied, " You should pay more deductible that way you don't have worry about that $400 cap. I then said, So the car won't be ready Friday"? She replied, "It may or may not be". "It might be ready Saturday". "Saturday", I replied . "Enterprise is not open on Saturday's" The rep responded," That's ok you can leave the car here." I told her I did feel comfortable with that. She then said not to worry because they have a good relationship with the guys that manage Enterprise. Our conversation ended with me requesting that she call me tomorrow afternoon to tell me the status of my car, she agreed. Before she hung- up she reminded me that I must pay the rest of my deductible in cash. Afterwards, I called my State Farm agent, who told me on no uncertain terms to leave the rent a car with Nanuet Collision, that it must be dropped off at Enterprise. Friday July 7th 4:45pm I call Nanuet Collision as I had not heard from them. I man answered and Informed me that they are still working on the car, but that it should be ready at 5:30pm. On my way to drop off the rent a car I drove passed Nanuet Collision and saw approximately four men frantically working on the car. When Enterprise dropped me off it was 5:15pm. While waiting for the car to be finished. The Nanuet Collision rep said she'll have to send me the rest of the paperwork on Monday, I responded, " I need a receipt today, she retorted " You'll get your receipt today"! She then had me sign some affidavit that repairs were made to my car. Also, she gave me script on how to answer the State Farm survey and highlighted that I should rate them a 10. On that same survey a prewritten a comment had been scribed that stated that I didn't have to return the car for repair. When car was ready, it was running, and one of the mechanics said , "Check out your AC, isn't that nice and cool." " I said yeah, "It actually colder than usually and spirting out water droplets.". I then drove my car home. On Saturday, July 8th, I get in my car and turn on my AC and its blowing hot air. On Monday July, 10th I take it to my mechanic at Honda Medic, and he informs me that there is a leak coming from the new condenser pipe A receiver. I had to pay $ 486.00 for this repair. There is no way I would take my car back to Nanuet Collision for the repair because you only have one chance to do the job right. Beside I am sure they would gaslit me if I went back to them anyway. The only positive I can say is they do clean your car nicely, but I didn't go there for a car wash. No, I would not recommend Nanuet Collision.
