A lot of parents and students have said that this school has some problems. The people in charge of the school are not very nice. The principal is often. Does not listen to people, which makes kids feel scared instead of encouraged. A school should be a place where kids feel respected and heard. That is not what happens here. The teachers are also not very good at their jobs. They can be rude and dismissive which makes kids feel like they do not care. Kids need teachers who're patient kind and want to help them learn but that is not what they get at this school. The whole school has a feeling to it. Kids and parents have said that they do not feel supported and that people are often mean to each other. School should be a place where kids feel happy and excited to learn. That is not what happens at this school. Because of all these problems parents should think carefully before sending their kids to this school. It could be really bad for kids to go to a school that's so stressful and negative. There are other schools that are much better where kids can feel safe and supported and that is where they will do their best. In the end this school is not a place for kids to learn. The mean principal, the teachers and the bad atmosphere make it a place that kids will not thrive in. Your child deserves a better school.

It is a part of the Hawthorne Gospel Church and teaches biblical values as a central part of their curriculum. The facilities are state of the art, the athletics get better and better every year, and the staff are some of the most knowledgeable, dedicated, and loving teachers in the world. The classes are small so the the student teacher ratios are always very good. Many of the alumni that I have talked to are still great friends with the people they went to high school with because the bonds formed at Hawthorne Christian last.
