So, I was concerned as to what the quality of his work would be like. After checking five references, we felt OK enough to move forward with using him. We are SO glad that we did... 1. Matt provided an estimate to us via Facetime due to COVID, which was accurate and instantaneous. 2. His communication is beyond phenomenal. He is super responsive and turn around time is very quick. 3. His team shows up EVERY DAY, ON TIME and works late into the evening. I've completed NUMEROUS remodel projects on my 60's build home and I've never worked with a company where the team shows up at 07:45AM until the project is completed. 4. Matt provided the most cost friendly estimate for materials that were far above what others were able to. He really was able to keep our cost to a minimum while producing a high end finish for us. I was initially hesitant that he was underestimating, but he did indeed finish the job to the level he had promised. 5. He took personal accountability and responsibility for any issues that came up. He even came to our house (with his child in tow) to personally finish clean up of the site when the project was finished. 6. Matt shows up on the first day of the job with the team to ensure all goes according to plan. Matt is a really relationship driven guy, so he will see to it that you are pleased with the outcome of any project he commits his company to. I couldn't recommend him and his team more. What you will find is a high end job for an affordable price that will exceed your expectation.

He showed up a couple of days durning the week long project to make sure all was giong well and that we were satisfied. They are happy with their house except....They must replace the roof! The shingles are cheap quality/low grade! My parents insurance company has refused to pay for replacement! Several neighbors have replaced their roof at their own cost or finally fought/wore out the insurance company to pay. There is NO WAY that these houses should have had to replace their roof at five years and less than five years! It is absolutely ludicrous that Horton put cheap shingles on these homes! I have friends in Longs, SC that also had to replace their roof on a house built by Horton! Their house is only five years old!! My parents are also disappointed with the workmanship on the trim in their house. Several rough pieces! Com' on Horton! You can and should do better! This crap roofing is an epidemic!!! Dozens of families in our community are being blindsided by these sudden increases, making their homes unaffordable within just months of moving in. Many of our neighbors are now being forced to sell or move out because they can no longer sustain the unexpected financial burden. This is an unacceptable and negligent oversight on D.R. Horton's part. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. D.R. Horton's handling of this situation is disgraceful, and the financial strain they have caused for so many families is inexcusable. This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic and should be thoroughly investigated. Homebuyers deserve transparency and accountability -- not surprise costs that drive entire neighborhoods into financial distress.
