After meeting with several contractors and talking to a lot of companies (many people don't want to work in condos) we decided to go with Glazer Design and Construction for a complete renovation of our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. Throughout the project Lowell (our project manager) was great about keeping us informed about the progress and what was coming up next in the schedule. We ran into a couple problems, as can be expected in any major renovation, where he would provide a few different options for how we could proceed which was great. Additionally, despite our property manager being somewhat unreasonable at times, Lowell was great about working with her. During the project, the only major issue was an oversight on the height of the shower heads. After talking to Lowell he had no issue fixing it at no additional charge. Lowell also had no problem accommodating very specific dimmer switches instead of what they normally used so that we could automate our home. We have loved showing off our "brand new" condo to friends and family. Lowell and his team did an amazing job with our unit and we would highly recommend them to everyone. read more

We embarked on a home addition, and initially found the project a bit daunting, given the large scope. After interviewing over 5 builders, we chose Glazer, and could not be happier. Our renovation started on time. They were very quick actually to get the demo done. Things moved slowly after that since we were waiting for cabinets to get in but once they did things went VERY quickly. To the point where we were given no warning about people coming to our house. Job came to an end, once again very slowly until they wanted final payment. We, like the first people, worked with Glazer b/c we thought they would come within budget.when I tell you our budget doubled is an understatement. More importantly, if you want to see the worst kitchen renovation come on over. Our cabinets don't close, and are lopsided. When I approached Glazer about thishe chuckled and saidit's the house. I'm embarrassed to "show off" my 100K kitchen. I should have gone to Ikea. I'm actually embarrassed for them. The kitchen designer they referred us to was no where to be found once we submitted payment to him, and Glazer is also VERY slow to answer the phone now that he has received payment in full. I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot polland I've learned a lot about contractors from them... read more
