OMG, Everything about this practice awes me in the most positive way! From ease of parking, to the welcoming receptionists, the skilled dental assistant and Dr. Chris, I'm elated. Most people don't crow about getting a crown, but the experience I had yesterday could not have been better. Isabelle escorted me in to the chair exactly at my appointment time. She thoughtfully walked me through the process, clearly and carefully explaining each step from x-ray to fitting the temporary. Dr. Chris came in and, I'M NOT KIDDING, painlessly numbed me up before doing the drilling. The team carefully selected a tooth color for my crown that would blend in with my other teeth. I am happy with my service today at Ramona dental group. I'm not fan of lay down and having hands inside my mouth with tools and drilling and local anesthesia, all of that makes me really nervous. I am in the medical field my self and really helps when someone does listen to you and talk you through the process. I just moved to Ramona last summer & had to find a new dentist. My friend recommended Dr. Chris at Ramona Dental Group so I called & booked my appt for a new patient exam & cleaning. I was able to get in within 2 weeks. The office is clean & home-like with many smiling faces so I felt very comfortable. My hygienist was Claire, who is the BEST!! She is very nice, funny & thorough with her cleaning. I enjoyed talking with her as we had a lot in common. I then met another dental tech who did my full mouth x-rays, she was also very nice & efficient. Finally I got to meet Dr. Chris, who did my exam. Thankfully everything looked good so I won't be seeing them for another 6 months now but I am definitely looking forward to going back there for all my cleanings! Where do I begin?!? Although Dr. Laurie is a very gentle dentist, he is just that, a dentist. He is great for repairing your everyday cavity or placing a crown, but if he tries to say he can do implants or bone grafting or a sinus lift, do not let him. Every bit of work he has ever done for me has failed. I spent over $12,000 to not even have the work completed. I was left with bone grafting that didn't work and implant posts with no teeth on them. I just went to an implant specialist who was in total disbelief as to what he was looking at. One of my implant posts had movement and was severly infected. He took me immediately into surgery to remove the implant only to discover the entire front side of my bone around the implant was gone, so, bone grafting had to be done as well. I tried to write this review on their facebook page only to receive a comment back saying, "We're sorry, we don't recognize you as a patient." Amazing considering i was a patient there for 7 YEARS. On Yelp they cannot modify or delete my review, so, that's why I'm here. Only specialists should be doing specialized procedures. It's worth the extra money. read more

I'm going to start by saying I'm a nervous wreck when it comes to dental work, and I usually wait until the pain is unbearable to seek help. After calling a few other offices, a family member recommended this office, I called and they said they could take me in as soon as I could get there, around 1:45ish Upon entering the office I was greeted with warm smiles, friendly conversation, and felt comfortable in the waiting room. After only a few moments I was walked to the chair, and the assistant took a look and a few x-rays, which were painless and very fast. Awesome Dr Chris came in and examined the x-rays and came to her conclusion and told me what I should do in this situation. I told her if I can go to work tomorrow and feel better than fix the tooth, she proceeded, and to be honest, I didn't even feel the needle... To sum it all up best dental experience ever, fast, painless, and probably some of the best office staff ever. You now have a customer for life! read more

We were on vacation in Julian when Saturday the wife got a major toothache, she fought it off through the night then Sunday it was unbearable. Called the emergency line for two dentists in town and no answer or reply. Called Ramona Dental group also, after about a half an hour got a call back from Dr. Laurie and he agreed to meet us in half an hour. Ramona was about 20 minutes away so no problem. Made the drive and meet the Dr. at his office. The office was really nice, I mean really nice, fireplace, huge flat screen with cable and the rest of the place was clean and nice too. Even the outiside patio area is great with a fountain and gardens. He looked at my wifes teeth, gave a quick evaluation and prescription to help get her through until we could see our dentist at home. Get this... NO CHARGE. Now to make a short story longer, we took the prescription to the pharmacy and Dr. Laurie had written the wrong date so they wouldn't fill it and tried calling him and couldn't get a hold of him. I drove back to his office to see if he was still there but he wasn't. When we had first arrived i noticed the nice bright car in the lot, there was only two when we arrived and it was now gone. As i drove back to the pharmacy I spotted that bright car at a cafe... now my wife needed this prescription so I had to stalk Dr. Laurie to this breakfast cafe and sure enough I found him and his wife enjoying their meal but had to interrupt and ask again for his help. He was sorry he wrote the wrong date and gave his wife's cel for the pharmacy to call and get approval on the prescription. On my way out, i bought Dr. Laurie's breakfast, the least I could do after helping us out. I doubt I'll ever be in Ramona again and need dental work, but if you're nearby, I'd go see him, very nice man and office. read more

To anyone considering dentistry work, I have always chosen large, dental chains in professional buildings. Perhaps as part of my anxiety towards going to the dentist. Bigger is better, right? That's what I thought. Turns out, I was wrong. Upon entering the structure, obviously converted from a house into a dental practice, I was amazed. The kind and knowledgeable staff was warm and welcoming. I was escorted to a state-of-the-art- x-ray machine. Several in fact. It was quick and painless. I was immediately seated, examined and given choices on how to proceed. Every step was done with me, the patient, in mind. I chose to proceed with a root-canal. A two part process. My immediate fear was that the last dentist did not thoroughly "numb" my tooth before work began. But not so here! I had the pleasure of having Dr. Christine Falkosky, D.M.D. as my dentist. She was the ultimate in kindness and gentleness. Her assistant, Kathy McDaniel was absolutely splendid. Kind, calm and generous. The complete process from initial contact to procedure completion was a wonderful experience. The first one I have ever had at a dental office. I, like many others, fear going to the dentist. From now on, Ramona Dental Group is my new dental care home! Thank you to everyone from the staff, to the assistances, to the doctors! I look forward to my next visit. Moved to Ramona back in October and had to find a dentist for a crown that had popped off. Called around and decided to give these guys a try. I hadn't been to the dentist in quite a while for a routine check up, so I thought I'd get a cleaning while I was visiting too. My teeth felt amazing after the cleaning and they got my crown back on. During the first visit, we went through all the teeth that needed work, then what my insurance can cover and decided on a plan. Came back to have that last crown replaced completely and to have a filling by Dr. Chris. She is awesome and the rest of the staff are super friendly and helpful.. will continue using them for sure! read more

I researched dentists on yelp because it's been YEARS since I've gone to one. After reading the positive reviews I thought I would try this one out to see how it went. My first visit I asked for just an exam to see how many cavities I had and just to get an overall feeling for the office. I had Katherine take all my x-rays and they put all of the pictures up on the monitor so you can see everything they are talking about. I loved how informed they made me on all my teeth and what they would recommend. After the initial appointment I made a second one to have a cleaning and two fillings done. To be honest I was anxious the morning of the appointment because it had been so long since I had a filling done. Once I got there Claire did my cleaning and she gave me so much wonderful info on my teeth and gums and she even gave me the numbing shot before I saw the Dr. Chris which was the part I was most worried about. She made it painless and put me at serious ease about it all. Once I saw Dr. Chris she did my fillings in literally 15 minutes and was so gentle. I am so impressed with the entire staff there this will be the only dentist office my family and I will go to going forward. I would give them 10 stars if I could! read more

I went to Dr. Laurie's Office one year ago to have my upper arch repaired . The local church referred me here & I thought they would not error in the recommendation. I asked for the work to be done as quickly as possible since I was to leave the nation and marry overseas in the spring of 2014. To say I was greatly disappointed by this dental service led by Bruce , would be a great underestimate. I paid for the entire procedure expenses , with cash paid up front for everything. They provided no discounts to me as a disabled veteran and I wasn't surprised. I had the teeth installed about six and a half months later than they should have been installed. Bruce offered no explanation for the delay and was not in the least bit concerned that my spring wedding was not held as planned due to his inept planning and execution of my dental repair. He offered no compensation to show any remorse for his delay in providing a service that was already paid for. He is a basically heartless individual whom will smile at you just as long as you keep feeding his cash register. I cannot recommend this dentist as someone an honorable person would use. Go somewhere else where your life is of value and they don't just value your cash ! The delay cost me an extra ten thousand dollars staying in San Diego waiting plus of course the wedding was not performed in the spring as planned. Bruce showed no concern for anyone except himself. read more
