I had a crown done about a month ago from my dentist office and about a week after I went back to the dentist several times for pain and they said it was due to clinching but I do not clinch teeth. So about a week later the pain increased and said something has to be wrong it was beyond sensitive. My dentist reached out to Dr.Hanlon and his team and they were able to squeeze me in at the end of their day the next day working into their closing hours. They didn't have to do that of course but they did and I I appreciated it so much! When I was taken back to get my treatment he already knew what was going on based on my symptoms I didn't even have to tell him when it was hurting the most which was at night he already knew! Haha I had a great experience with him and his team there from start to finish. I am feeling 10000x better then I did yesterday. Highly recommend coming here for your treatment needs.

Everyone was attentive, polite and professional. I especially appreciated Vanessa as she explained everything thoroughly and was extremely kind. Let's face it, most of us don't enjoy our dental appointments. But I can honestly say, I not only had very little pain, I have TMJ which is a real pain when my mouth is open for extended amounts of time, after the novacaine faded there wasn't any pain either. I've never had any kind of root canal without pain, let alone a second one over an old one that had infection. Of course I ran to Yelp to find a provider that could see me sooner. I decided to call Pomerado Endodontics based on the great reviews and despite the negative reviews- hey! there's always 2 sides to every story.. My first interaction was with Lily- she was so kind and did everything in her power to get me in as soon as possible for a consult. She sent me all the paperwork to fill out and they were able to fit me in the very next day. The initial appointment consult was fast and efficient. Dr. Kenny was able to find the problem and explained his plan to make it better. I booked the soonest appointments to get started. The second appointment was a root canal. They made sure I was numb and got started right away. I've had one before and I couldn't believe I was in and out within an hour. The third appointment happened 2 days later-surgery to save a tooth that had a failed root canal. I've never had this procedure done before so I didn't know what to expect but his team explained everything thoroughly. Despite all the work- I managed to survive with minimal bleeding and swelling. My last appointment for this series was to remove the sutures which was just fine. I'm about a little over a week post-op and I feel great. But then again, considering my experience with San Diego North Endodontics, I should have expected this. Early last year, I had enough pain to make an emergency visit to my regular dentist. They subsequently sent me over to Doctor Chesler's office for a consultation. Turns out I had an incomplete root canal from a previous dentist many years ago that wasn't done quite right. They got me in right away to resolve the issue and that is exactly what they did! The entire procedure was a cake walk with immediate pain relief. Although there was residual pain due to healing, it has gradually been getting less. My 6-month visit revealed substantial improvement, and my one-year visit showed missing bone structure filling back in. It's to the point of only slight sensation while flossing. Ok, so much for the technical stuff. Regarding Dr. Chesler, I felt like I was his ONLY patient! He kept me fully informed about everything sparing no details. Additionally, he is compassionate in addressing any patient concerns. It's like he goes beyond the call of duty!

No one is happy about going to get a root canal right? haha…read more Well I had to go in for an emergency root canal yesterday. Today I'm 100%! No postop pain or soreness! Let me share that, this office from the staff I interacted with: Ms. Lydia, Ms. Melissa, to the experienced endodontist Mr. Erol Apaydin, DDS MS whom worked on my root canal, it was a superb patient care and service experience. Dr. Apaydin, is exceptionally amazing...and that's no lip service! He was very focused, gentle, tactful, professional, effective, caring and when the numbing wore off I had no soreness, which is unusual after they are stuffing your mouth with necessary apparatuses!! lol, no but really. Thankfully, the office was able to get me in significantly sooner due to my pain. When I went in, due to COVID-19, I called the office and they told me to come to the front door and wait. Lilia greeted me wearing her mask and took my temperature and asked me a series of COVID-19 related questions. I was then led to the office and taken to the exam room right away. I filled out paperwork (you can also do this online prior to your visit) and then met with the dental assistant (I'm sorry I forgot her name, but she's absolutely lovely!) After the paperwork, she helped me get set up for the examination and took x-rays for the doctor. This process took 15 mins. The doctor came in after that. He was to the point but friendly. After examining the x-rays, asking me some questions regarding my pain, and then tapping the tooth to test it out, he determined I needed a root canal. I was prepared to do this right away so I could be out of pain ASAP. After I gave approval, the doctor numbed my mouth and literally finished the procedure in 30 minutes. I had to come back two weeks later to have the work completed due to disinfectant being placed inside the area that was worked on, it was as smooth as can be! It took about 30 minutes then, too. I'm super impressed with this office. I don't want another root canal, but if I had to have one, I'd definitely come back here!

Their office is super clean, very boutique and the entire staff was super friendly and helpful. Minus what insurance covered, my portion of payment was transparent and fair. Overall, I could not have had a better root canal experience. Dr. Orton's state of the art 3D image instrument revealed my tooth was in fact infected - an issue a basic x-ray could not reveal. Dr. Orton explained in detail of the solution on how he would perform the root cancel to alleviate the pain and get rid of the infection. The procedure was done in less than an hour with no pain and very minimal discomfort (ask for suction when you need it, he and his nurse are sincerely happy to help). To all of you at Orton Endodontics, thank you for knocking it out of the park! Also, I really enjoyed our chat about skiing at Snowbird!!
