Basically he's training your spine to be in the right position so you don't experience pain. His adjustments are done with only the neck area. He doesn't twist you all over the place like a regular chiropractor does. However, he is not a regular chiropractor. He's considered one of the best in his field. I even sent one of my friends to him that has a rod in her back, and she was extremely pleased that he was able to give her some relief from her pain. His thoroughness and precision were greatly appreciated, and made the brief followup appointments well worth it. Unlike other chiro's, who I think build their biz model on a couple of years of adjustments per patient, Health First has a front loaded cost structure, so you are definitely paying out of pocket for your care. Fortunately my insurance covered insurance, even out of state, and I was able to recoup a significant part of my expenses. It was totally worth it for me, however, as it has truly set me on the path of personal wellness. I am back in my home state, seeing another Blair practitioner, as well as other musculoskeletal specialists, to assist with my ongoing reset of my alignment after many years of subtle but impactful mis-alignment. I hope to be a fully functioning person by the end of the summer, which is a pretty amazing 9 month turnaround after many many years of wellness investment. Dr. Lennarz is the real deal, and if you also suspect that your upper neck is driving a lot of your issues, you can't really do better.
