We stopped in here for a late breakfast on our way to check out Twin Falls. We waited for less than 5 minutes to be seated as they were very busy. Someone got our drink orders immediately and our waitress arrived before the drinks. She was super friendly and helped us decide what to order. Food came out quickly and everything was delicious! We ordered one chocolate gravy biscuit to try and OMG you have to get one! Sooo good! We will definitely stop in here if we're ever in town again. Arrived about 10 after 1pm and lunch crowd was starting to slow down. I ordered fish and baked potato and okra. 15 minutes went by and order showed up, baked potato and okra was cold. We had not eaten there in several years and decided to try breakfast on Saturday morning. They were really busy and we had to wait about ten minutes for a table. After getting seated, we had a very sweet and efficient waitress and our food came out fairly quick, considering how busy they were. The great service is what got them the stars, otherwise it would have been zero. The coffee was so weak that it had no flavor. When she brought the coffee pot to the table, you could see through it. My scrambled eggs were way overcooked and brown on the bottom. Those big pancakes were terrible. I had to use a knife to cut them. Never have had a pancake that was tough, but these were. My dining partner's order of loaded hash browns was very overcooked - spots on the potatoes were actually black. Probably won't be back. read more

Purchased 4 separate meals for pick up, only received half my order. As the waitress handed me my order I stated that I had ordered four different meals and there was only two containers in the bag, she stated "We double check all of our pick up orders." Low and behold when I get back I open the bag and see I am missing two complete orders. I don't enjoy paying $40.00 for two biscuits and an order of French Toast. First let me say I own 2 restaurants in the Phoenix area so I'm very careful about the reviews I leave. I have never met more rude people in my life. Went there for lunch today but did not stay. Never made it past the front door. I stood waiting to be acknowledged for at least 10 minutes. When the woman came she walked right past me to a family who had just walked in and put them on the wait list. I told her I had been waiting to be acknowledged and she said well they were here before you. Even if they had been, it would have at the very least been nice to acknowledge that I was standing there and she would get to me. This was an old lady with white short hair. Just very rude and condescending even in the way she spoke to me. I work very hard for my money and the choices here in Harrison are many. Let me say I'm local. I live here. This is my breakfast spot. Give me a DENVER omelet with hash browns. They offer toast or biscuits and gravy with that. It is a thin egg omelet full of meat or veggies topped with CHEESE. Well the service was fast and friendly and the Food was tasty but it was the most disappointing waffle I've ever had in my entire life. I was expecting a fluffy thick waffle and what I got was a waffle that might've been a quarter of an inch thick at the most. Aside from them being busy for a Saturday morning the servers were in no rush to get orders taken so I would warn not to come here if you are needing to get in and out quickly. We sat and got our drinks and ordered about 15 minutes later. Our food came about 45 after that. It was delicious. I had the Denver omelet with the southwestern hash browns. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Ranch House seems to be a local favorite, there is room for improvement however. We spent the night in Harrison Thursday 10/20/16. Friday we woke early anxious to be out and about in the area. We walked through the door and noticed the dining room was busy. We didn't notice a sign that said "wait to be seated" or one indicating the other choice. A man was busy cashiering, he caught up quickly. There we stood "flatfooted" not knowing what to do, the cashier gave no greeting in fact didn't look up. I stepped over and asked if we were to seat ourselves. He responded that we were and gestured largely toward a table on the opposite side of the dining room. Right away I said I'd noticed it, it hasn't been cleared yet. He said I'll clean it. When seated he asked what we were drinking,"Coffee" I said. After several more minutes coffee arrived. We looked over the menu and looked and looked some more. I flagged down a waitress and asked if she was was our waitress. I should have written her name down, she was very nice and was running her legs off. She gets an A+, the cafe a D-. I ordered a 2 egg plate with sausage and hash browns. I'd noticed a menu offering of "loaded" hash browns. It seemed hash browns were "their thing". I'm here to tell you hash browns are NOT their thing! Soggy, mushy, unseasoned and had scant contact with the griddle before being plopped onto the plate. The plate being cold insured the eggs were lukewarm, hash browns well....terrible. The waitress tried her best. Housekeeping has been ignored for too long, the dining room is not clean....not even close. When paying up no question about how the meal was, to come again or even to have a good day. If you read closely the probable answers to those questions is no mystery. I would recommend Waffle House in Harrison but there isn't one. You'll do yourself a favor if you steer clear of Ranch House. read more

After a disappointing attempt at trying to eat lunch in Branson it ended up being brunch in Harrison, AR. I had the Philly Cheese steak omelet. The omelet was not to greasy and was nicely folded. The steak in it was cut up reasonably. The onions and green peppers in the omelet was a nice addition. And the hash browns were just browned enough for my preference. The restaurant was pretty busy but our waitress was attentive. The price of items was reasonably priced. We ate there March 16 at 11 AM. It took almost forty minutes to get our food. Wife's breakfast was pretty good. My "loaded" hamburger steak was greatly over cooked. No juice or flavor left in it. The wilted (not sautéed) veggies served on top hardly qualified as "loaded." Service was ok. Cashier had zero personality. No employee in the place ever smiled or indicated they were glad to be there. Parking outside is difficult. We paid $24 for two of us to eat brunch. For that price I would expect a whole lot better than what we got. read more
