Located in La Mesa NM, it is an incredible, large facility right in the middle of all the pecan farms / orchards. Acres and acres of pastures, competition arenas, indoor barns for boarding, outdoor boarding, hybrid boarding, cattle pens, ranch houses and bunk houses, this place is huge. They house everything from privately owned horses (like mine), to thoroughbred race horses, quarter horses, lesson horses, trail ride horses, competitive horses and more. Dr Joe Armstrong lives on site, and his sons Josh and Ed, and their sons and daughters and other staff, facilitate everything. From training to care, they do it all. This is the absolute best boarding and/or training facility that you are going to find. Even if you don't own horses, they have plenty for you to do lessons on. Though I see my Bentley Boy almost daily, they are the ones that provide a world class, championship training facility for him. They provide a safe and happy home, daily water, daily stall cleaning, daily feeding, and look how clean he is!!! Yup, they bathed him and he looks incredible! In my absence, they also give him exercise and use him for some training with cattle or trail rides, and even photo shoots! And when I'm not being busy or just a baby because it's a sandstorm, they give me mounted and unmounted training twice a week. And they can train you too! Or your horse! Or both! Upon picking her up for the last time she has poop running down her leg and I was forced to change her outside in the cold. To start, there was so much "miscommunication" and a huge language barrier. I've lived in multiple countries and know how to get around this issue well, but they were unwilling to take necessary actions to do so. Enrolling was great, but once my daughter was enrolled the issues began to pile up. If you or your children don't speak Spanish fluently do not enroll your children here. I told them I suspected a food allergy, and was informed that since I didn't have a doctors note that they couldn't be responsible, they would still give it to her because the state required, or I would have to bring all of her meals since she couldn't have certain types of fruit. We were sent home with other children's bottles, or without her things entirely. She has come home with scratches, bruises, and other issues and they NEVER would tell me how it happened. She's been in the care of others before and NEVER been as sick as she has been in the past 2 months. I was never allowed to see her inside playing with the other children. They only sent 2 pictures from her entire time being there.
