I have been meaning to write this review because I believe future customers should know what to expect, particularly when dealing with the owner, Elena. During the booking process, Elena came across as sweet, caring, informative, and down-to-earth. However, once we signed the contract and informed her that we planned to use our own trusted vendors--professionals we have worked with successfully for multiple family events--the experience began to change. Some of the issues we encountered included: 1. Our vendors were treated as if they were her subordinates rather than independent professionals hired by us. 2. The seating layout was set up incorrectly despite reviewing and confirming the arrangement with her beforehand. 3. Her interactions with our guests were often rude, loud, and unprofessional. She made it very clear that she was the owner of the property and expected everyone to know it. 4. While her staff was serving guests, I requested that ice water be provided. The response I received was, "You didn't pay for it, haha," followed by, "No, we're not going to do it." 5. Elena's camera crew and photographer frequently overshadowed and interfered with our own photography team. The most disappointing part is that the venue itself is beautiful. The ranch is stunning and creates a wonderful atmosphere for special events. Unfortunately, the overall experience was negatively impacted by the owner's behavior. One incident that particularly stood out involved a guest who brought a bottle of whiskey, unaware of the venue's policies. Before even greeting us, Elena approached the table, took the bottle directly from the guest's wife's hands, and began scolding them as if they were children. This couple are successful professionals in their late 40s and deserved to be treated with courtesy and respect. Thankfully, my daughter was unaware of most of what transpired and was able to enjoy her special day. However, many of our guests commented afterward on how rude and unprofessional Elena was throughout the event. If you choose to book this venue, understand that you are hosting your event in someone's home and will be subject to the owner's rules and management style. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Ashley as our day-of coordinator for our wedding in June, and I can say without hesitation that one of the primary reasons everything went off without a hitch (well, minus US getting hitched!) was thanks to having Ashley and IOTC as part of our day. 2. Ashley and IOTC offered us professionalism, wonderful help and insight, great communication, and just the best-ever attitude amidst my bridezilla-ness :) I felt ever-safe in Ashley's care - a notion that came to full light the day that she came with us to our final venue meeting when I really got to see her in action. Her calmness and her knowledge proved to be most spectacular assets in our final weeks, and we could not have done it without her! 3. We had quite a large wedding party to manage at the rehearsal dinner, and she did a terrific job of herding the many cats, as I like to call it. Most importantly, she is the sweetest spirit and really made me feel at ease as the bride. Her communication was great, with quick response times, just a text, call or email away if I had a detail to run past her. I knew she was taking care of everything, so I was able to relax and enjoy the day. Several people remarked that I seemed amazingly calm that day, so I know that this is in large part to the complete and total confidence I had in Rebecca :) Love her!!!

With many months of coordinating back and forth with Tatiana it ended up being not what we had agreed on each and every time we met, she kept switching it on us. Originally the plan was our ceremony was going to be held at 4:00PM where we were told we were going to be provided with enough chairs for our wedding party. We were also told in our package we would be provided with cake knives that we would keep. The best part we were also told we would be able to have 4 food certificates where we could go eat at the casa Torres restaurant to try the food, we were even given the certificate in hand! Tatiana said all we had to do was tell her a couple days in advance so that she can let management know. So a couple months came and I called Tatiana and told her that my husband and I wanted to schedule a food tasting for the following week she then told me that I need to only tell her a couple days before. Something came up so we didn't end up going the weekend we said we would. So couple months went by and I called Tatiana again and told her that my husband and I wanted to go the following day to the restaurant and try the food that's where she proceeded to tell me that she never promised me that and that the way it works is I need to tell her my food items that I selected to see what event that they will have the similar food items we chose. (So what was the purpose of the certificate if that's true?) As the months went on as we got closer to our big day Tatiana started to become a little rude (maybe because they were starting to get all the money and figured who cares if the business happens or not) in April we were set to do a final walk through and invitations were already sent out and Tatiana then said the ceremony was set for 3:30pm and that chairs would not be provided for the wedding party. She also advised guests can start arriving at 3:00pm and The wedding came and she did not allow people to go in until exactly 3:30pm. We did not get the promised cake knives.
