May 16, 2026 we had our wedding at the Casa Torres banquet on San Fernando. We made our very first…read moredeposit back in July of 2025. With many months of coordinating back and forth with Tatiana it ended up being not what we had agreed on each and every time we met, she kept switching it on us. Originally the plan was our ceremony was going to be held at 4:00PM where we were told we were going to be provided with enough chairs for our wedding party. We were also told in our package we would be provided with cake knives that we would keep. The best part we were also told we would be able to have 4 food certificates where we could go eat at the casa Torres restaurant to try the food, we were even given the certificate in hand! Tatiana said all we had to do was tell her a couple days in advance so that she can let management know. So a couple months came and I called Tatiana and told her that my husband and I wanted to schedule a food tasting for the following week she then told me that I need to only tell her a couple days before. Something came up so we didn't end up going the weekend we said we would. So couple months went by and I called Tatiana again and told her that my husband and I wanted to go the following day to the restaurant and try the food that's where she proceeded to tell me that she never promised me that and that the way it works is I need to tell her my food items that I selected to see what event that they will have the similar food items we chose. (So what was the purpose of the certificate if that's true?) As the months went on as we got closer to our big day Tatiana started to become a little rude (maybe because they were starting to get all the money and figured who cares if the business happens or not) in April we were set to do a final walk through and invitations were already sent out and Tatiana then said the ceremony was set for 3:30pm and that chairs would not be provided for the wedding party. She also advised guests can start arriving at 3:00pm and The wedding came and she did not allow people to go in until exactly 3:30pm. We did not get the promised cake knives. But overall I think what made it was how beautiful the venue came together and also the very kind servers, They served my husband and I, they continued to check on us. They were friendly and amazing .

Great turnout from the local neighborhood for a concert in the park. The 1st Division Marine Corp Brass Band performed for the attendees. The park was very well maintained.
