I found Rancho San Diego Dental through an online search, and I'm SO glad I did! From the very beginning, the process of scheduling and getting seen quickly was completely seamless. Jaime took my X-rays and made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Driss had nothing but good vibes and made the whole experience feel easy. Anne was the absolute BEST hygienist, and Lindsey did an amazing job polishing my teeth! The entire staff and office were wonderful--friendly, welcoming, and professional. They were even able to provide the treatment I needed that same day, which I really appreciated. On top of everything else, I found the pricing to be very reasonable. For someone who hadn't been to the dentist in a long time and was a little apprehensive because of past experiences, I couldn't have asked for a better visit. I will DEFINITELY be going back. Great customer service, all the staff were nice and pleasent. I usually have anxiety about going to the dentist, but all the staff were awesome with the care they gave me. All of my procedures so far have been quick and relatively painless compared to other dentist I've been to in the past . This is the best my teeth have ever been. So it gets worse I get a notice from my insurance provider that services for check up and cleaning and x-rays the office chose to do weren't covered because they're not in my network. Before my visit I gave the office my insurance info to verify they were a provider and all basic comprehensive services were covered 100% . Unbelievable now I'm taking my time to file an appeal. If I receive a bill I will not be paying very unprofessional. I'm glad I didn't get the additional deep cleaning they recommended. read more

Recently, I switched Dentists due to a bad experience. Dr. Choe was extremely caring and professional. She removed an old cracked filling and made me a crown in 2 hours! I never have to wait long in their office and everyone is so nice. Anne did an amazing job cleaning my badly stained teeth after a superbug infection and 3 months of antibiotics left me with thrush. I came to this office with a bad infected abscess that was not treated. They extracted my tooth and performed a graft but neglected to clean the abscess which in turn became larger resulting in the abscess infection going up further to my gum. I was not prescribed antibiotics or pain meds. Yet my gum was still very tender. I then went to see a specialist & for a second opinion and that is when I discovered the abscess was still there. I had to have a deeper cut to remove all the infection and was prescribed antibiotics as well as pain meds. I requested a refund and they are refusing. I will take this further to the board. This could have resulted in health conditions directly to my body. I had two other people confirm the images showing the abscess. read more

She always makes sure that I get the treatment I need and explains everything that I need to know during my visit. Anne, the hygienist is also amazing! Doesn't prioritize your time. Never on time. Adds extra services without telling you. I simply wanted a cleaning and since they were behind and wanted to add additional services I had to reschedule. I went back to this place because I wanted to give them a chance. New ownership and new people. It's super close to my house and I was kind of disappointed at the previous dentist. So they set me up with their new doctor Dr Driss Samvari, very young and me being so negative and pessimistic with the franchise dentistries was very hesitant about the place and doctor. The young humble dentist greeted me so kindly and did clean my teeth and laser cleaned them. Then a week later I was going to have a cracked tooth treated and have a new crowns on it. First of all they had 20 percent discount this month to all dental works and second their pricing was lower than my previous dentist. I still had doubts, thought this sweet doctor graduated from USC that's well known with their dentistry school. Anyhow today I am sitting here, awaiting for their in house crown to be made. Doctor already cleaned up the cracked tooth that was way in the back and soon to be out of here with a new crown and a saved tooth. Well, glad I came over here against all my gut feelings. Sometimes we need to be more open minded. This young doctor is very very good at his craft and super humble and kind. He makes you feel like a member of his family. They do not tell you have 5 cavities when in reality, you only have 1. I have been to places like that, but Rancho San Diego Dentists don't do that. Dentist Nguyen said I needed a new porcelain crown in order to fill a cavity. This would cost me over $900, after the insurance paid their portion. I went to another dental office to ask how much they would charge. 00! There was NO cavity, so creating a new crown was unnecessary. The second dental office took x-rays of tooth #13 FOUR times and did not see any proof of a cavity!! To clarify matters, I went to Rancho San Diego Dentists and asked them to send me the X-rays by email. They confirmed my email address. I never got the X-rays, which makes me more suspicious of their honesty. Stay away! read more

Dont waste your time or money. I really hate saying that because I have been a patient of Jessica's for years and she was wonderful. Unfortunately she is wasting her talents with the office staff. They have inconsistent billing practices, which includes waiting to submit their billing to the insurance company and continue to provide services while either knowing they had outstanding invoices or were negligent to check to make sure they were paid and that their insurance information is correct. So, because they didn't do their job, they tried to pass along their mistakes to you to pay. Their unethical billing practice is disgraceful and disgusting. Run! read more

I admit it, I had been slacking on going to the dentist, but I thought i pay for insurance so use it! I am very impressed with Rancho Dentists. They are all so friendly and caring. I was impressed at how they work as a team. They got everything done in one visit where my former dentist would have spread it out to at least 3 visits. The technology they use is fantastic. Dr. Nguyen is great! very kind, very thorough she had me at ease from start to finish. She explained everything and gave her recommendations. I agreed with her plan of action. My Hygienist, Anthony, was excellent. Very gentle and did an excellent job with a deep cleaning. It was a cold and rainy day and I was chilled, the assistant, Luz, offered me a blanket and it was nice and warm. I have already recommended this office, especially Dr. Nguyen to numerous friends. The dentist was great but the front desk staff were not - they shouted out the medications that I'm on across a busy waiting room, which I didn't feel comfortable with.
