Do NOT waste your time applying to this place. They take several days ,even up to weeks to reply to your job search. It literally took four weeks to get a background check back to me after I was already waiting for two weeks to get onboarded. I applied at a few other staffing agencies and got my background check within one or two days. After waiting over three weeks, Assley at the Tempe office calls me back and asks me if I am still interested in a position I applied to. I told her I was and she said," great, you can start next week." On Tuesday Mind you this was a Thursday the week prior to start week. I was apprehensive since it had taken so long already and asked her when the details would be given to me. She told me she would will give you all of the information the following day (Friday). Great at finding great paying jobs. Not great in the fact they are poor at communication, would rather refer you to the website or app than work with you directly and seem to be great at finding roles that run out of work and end things well before the promised end date. I can definitely emphasize with the previous comments about Randstad. My recently experience from Tempe's Onsite Recruiter for Randstad was not enjoyable and left me feeling like this company could care less about getting jobs for others and more about making their quotas as recruiters. Recently, a job opportunity that I am MORE than qualified for came into my email, I contacted the recruiter Vincent Galicia several times. I emailed back a resume, I applied AGAIN to the same job on the website, I called and left voice messages requesting more information and a call back. The recruiter sent another email with another job but didn't respond to my reply via email to that either. I finally called another Tempe office to get information and was given his supervisor which I cc'd on another email. I finally did get an email saying that I wasn't qualified and he would keep my resume on hand? Bro, no. WE NEED JOBS we don't need you to ASSUME we don't have skills especially when your recruiters neglect follow ups, call backs and basic respect for those seeking employment. Three stars is what I've settled on giving this business... simply because I'm still blank on my feelings about it. One day I saw I had a voice mail on my phone. When you're out of work and looking, that's like a kid opening a Christmas present. The message was from one of their representatives. Curiously, I haven't looked for work in metro Phoenix since April 2010, choosing instead to go where the wind takes me... and by wind I do mean wherever I get offered a job first. In any case, the recruiter said (s)he found my resume online and had a job (s)he thought I would be a good fit. By the time I saw the message it was the end of the business day. Deep inside I thought it was a magnanimous gesture. I called the next day, but the person who called me was at lunch. I left my name and number and asked that my original recruiter call me back, nothing more, nothing less. It's been three business days and I haven't heard back. I'm not too interested in living in Phoenix, but I do appreciate the job prospect. Unfortunately, that would require him/her returning my call. I wish to seek greener pastures elsewhere, so part of me is thankful to hear nothing back, which is probably why I ranked this place higher than I normally would have otherwise. However, my story is really all I have to offer with my experience with this Randstad. I am incredibly disappointed in this temp agency. I was reached out to by an employee to apply to a position as a document prepper. My tasks sounded easy and were described to me in a way that sounded like I would be working in an office setting and my schedule would be Mon-Friday from 8-430. I went ahead and told them that I was interested in the position. Within an hour I was told that the company wanted to have me begin the paperwork process and drug screening etc. I was accepted for the position about a week or so later and was given instructions about my first day: Be there before 9 am to ensure you get there on time and report to this specific individual, wear business casual clothing, do not accept overtime hours, etc. When I arrived at the location, I was stunned to see that I would be working in a giant warehouse filled with loud machines. I was taken back into the building by a helpful security guard to show me where I could find the man that I was told to report to. Unfortunately, he was no where to be found and I was informed by one of the workers that he usually does not come in until 1130. Immediately, I was frustrated and confused as to why I was told to be there at a specific time on my first day, to find that my manager was not there to help show me around and give me more details about my position. A kind young man then showed me around and told me that I was the third person this had happened to this week and that he was sorry about the lack of communication. For 3 hours I was doing random jobs until the manager finally arrived. When I met him he informed me that my hours would be 9-630, extra hours on top of this plus weekend. I told him politely that I was told specifically that I would not be working extra hours and weekend, and that I accepted this position because I have other responsibilities and obligations outside of the schedule that I was told I would be working. He seemed to be a little thrown off by what I said and told me that I will need to work these hours and that he was going to speak to Randstad. I just went along with it and returned to the random work I was doing since the job I was supposed to be doing apparently wouldn't be in for another few weeks. I emailed the woman who recruited me and told her how disappointed I was in how the day was going and told her about what the manager said to me. She did not respond. I waited until the next day to tell her that I would not be returning to this company. Still no response. I then got an email that my time card had not been approved yet so I reached out to her today. She finally got back to me and all she said was that she is going to reach out to the company to approve my time card. They ended up rejecting my time card because "worker left after first day." I emailed the recruiter back and told her this information and I was immediately sent back an email that she is "out of the office." I just want some answers!!!!! It seems that there is a really big issue when it comes to professionalism, communication and confrontation. I'm really disappointed in this agency and I will never use it again. read more

Horrible temp agency. Don't bother leaving a message,they still will not call you back. You have to call them constantly to get information. They also leave out many details on the jobs they send you to,multiple jobs with unsafe working environment. Basically I've been there to drug test more than I've worked! I applied with Randstadt because of their high rating and reviews on Google. After applying online at their website, I had not received an email or response after a week. I called their local office to ensure I was following their procedures. Their representative that answered the phone sounded rushed and like she didn't want to be on the phone. I asked if applying online was the way to get registered and she replied, "Yes, apply online and then apply for any jobs posted." No other info was offered. No "we'll call you when we want to test you for a position" or "we'll let you know after we receive your application", nothing. Anyway, it's been a couple of weeks now and they have had the same two admin jobs posted on their website that was there 2 weeks ago. Nothing else in my Admin field. Seems strange to me...but there's nothing new to apply for! That's the reason for the 2 stars. Either they have more than enough applicants or they don't have any jobs to offer. Maybe both.
