Incredibly disappointed. We hired Chad to extend our patio and install a pergola in our backyard…read more He was great at selling us on this project but ultimately did not follow through with what was promised. We now have a patio with two distinctly different paver colors than what is on our lanai and it looks stupid. He blamed first the builder of our home for the color discrepancies then he blamed us claiming we were shown pictures of the color of the pavers (he picked these pavers out and claimed they matched our lanai) He never showed us pictures of the options nor did we know until after the fact the name of the company he placed the order with. He knew we wanted it to match the lanai. He offered no resolution to fix this. Instead of offering any resolution he threatened to have a lien put on our home! We did not get the polymeric sand that we paid extra for. I specifically wanted the pergola we paid $7000 for to be able to support a swing and it can't because it's wobbly and won't support any additional weight. This was a huge part of our conversation with Chad when he came to give us an estimate. He even told me that if I had the swing at the time of install they would hang it for me. His failure to show up when he promised and properly check the work that he subcontracted out has led to massive issues. It's sad and completely shocking to me that when confronted with these issues his response was to tell us we were just trying get out of paying him and threaten to put a lien on our property. We at no point threatened not to pay. All we wanted was for our pavers to match. All we wanted was what he promised us. Do not trust this person.

This has been a long time coming- we started planning our back yard upgrades over a year ago and…read morethe ideas kept morphing until we came to the conclusion that we should just replace and expand our existing lanai. We looked at several companies- reviews are harsh for most, but Lifetime is also a advertising king! Radio and all the local coupon guides. So we went into the showroom and scheduled to have a salesperson come out. I have to look up when that was- I think it was May.... We went back and forth on size and costs and finally had a plan, signed the contracts- the original estimate was 4-6 months, but they thought it would be done in October or November depending on how long it took for HOA and City Permits to clear. Hoa was fast, City approved in September and I was stoked- yay, it would be done soon. Ha-ha. Not really. It took a while to get the demo done, then waited for concrete- the inspection for that was super fast! But then I had to wait for a team to be ready to install the lanai. That was a wait- after Thanksgiving we finally had some movement and the majority of the work was done a little over a week from Christmas. We had another company come out and epoxy the new concrete extension (the original had already be done before we decided on this crazy project. This review is a little premature- as it is not 100% finished. We are still waiting on the hose pass-through, we are getting 2 installed. Lifetime also said something about waiting on gutters, but we thought everything was installed....so, hmmm. Once the finish, another inspector will be sent out to survey everything. So far I am loving the work. The one thing they could improve on is communication- more touching base to update us on timeline. This took longer than quoted. It will supposedly be finished up next week, after the new year. I am very happy with my new porch, I've already moved my furniture back in and hung patio lights and decor. We are just waiting on the finishing details. I would recommend, with the warning that you may want to be proactive in the communication part.
