June 2024 bride here! TLDR; Randy is a 5 star DJ that goes above and beyond and will make you & your spouses day so much easier AND receive high praise from guests. We hired Randy based on vibes and he did not disappoint. The energy he brings to the planning calls rolled right into the rehearsal and wedding day and we couldn't have been happier. This is a bit of a belated review as our wedding was last August but my wife and I have not forgotten how amazing it was to have Randy involved in our event from beginning to end. Not only did he hook it up bringing all necessary equipment to our remote forest summer camp wedding (including up-lighting for the trees!) and keep everyone grooving late into the night, he was an immensely positive, helpful, and stabilizing presence to have at an event with so much going on. This was our first time putting on such a large event, but Randy handled himself like he'd done it a million times and was invaluable in getting the wedding party and guests in the right place at the right time. Truly a maestro! Regarding the music - he can really play it all and masterfully wove the music from the inspiration playlists he had my wife and I create on Spotify during the planning phase in with some more danceable and traditional wedding tunes to keep people pumped throughout the event. He even offered to do a second late-night house/rave style set "as late as the bride and groom wanted to keep going".
