I've never had a bad experience at Randy's. I had a long meeting in Union today that got out early. On my way home I decided I needed lunch...Checked my GPS and Randy's cart was only 2 miles away. This was probably my 4th or 5th time here and Randy is ALWAYS one of my favorites as you won't get a friendlier Hot Dog guy! Two dogs, one with chili and cheese and one with chili, kraut and craft-beer mustard. Yeah the dogs look a little sloppy, but that's just because I ate in my car and Randy is generous with the toppings. Been a long time since my last visit, but it's always GREAT! This was a great hole in the wall find. Great escape from traffic. Parking was easy. Even had a few knick knocks around to ponder around as you wait. Looks like one of those horror movies and don't know what to expect. Randy the hotdog guy was friendly. The hotdog and bun was warm and delicious. My boyfriend and I drive by Randy's ALL the time. We finally tried him out yesterday, and oh my gosh was it delish! We both got a hotdog and a soda. I am always passing Randy's hot dog corner with its bright yellow and red cart and kind of deserted lot. One day, I finally drove by and noticed the house door cracked open so I pulled over. Out of sheer curiosity, I walked in and partly intruded but yelled hello? This place was dingy but felt like there was a lot of decades of memories in it with all the rustic signs, lamps and other misc random things. After doing a little curious snooping, I heard rattling back outside where Randy worked his magic, the cart. Randy is a pretty interesting fellow with a lot of spunk and he's really passionate about his dogs lol he had 2 different kinds that day, the snap dog and a spicy one and they were both delicious. Randy is absolutely the best, hot are served outside in a pushcart his property doesn't appear the neatest but he is very sanitary, pushcart hotdogs are the best just like nyc dogs except half the price if not better. He even offers roadside service when you park along the side of his property. Great job Randy! read more

Randy and his big personality alone are enough to visit this place. Great hot dogs in an odd spot. I had the Best's skinless hot dog on a regular hot dog roll (potato rolls were the other option), with hot mustard and sauerkraut. Randy was generous with the kraut, and didn't drown the dog in mustard. I'll be back. read more
