Randy Thomas should be your last stop in looking for an agent! If I could give him 10 stars I definitely would! Prior to finding Randy, we worked with two different agents and their preferred lenders in purchasing our first home. The experience was horiffic and traumatizing to say the least. Both times we ended up in escrow with the whole deal falling through during closing. Time and money went down the drain because we put our trust in the wrong people. People who were not as knowledgeable about the VA process (or many other aspects) as we were led to believe. This time around we did even more thorough research on agents and read everything we could find on them. Licenses, credentials, and reviews from sites other than Yelp. Randy was at the top of the list. We decided to meet with him and we are so thankful we did! Because we had so many questions regarding the VA loan processes, Randy brought one of his preferred lenders to the initial meeting as well (Daniel Sosa from Central Valley Mortgage). Hello everyone my name is TJ and today marks six months since I first moved into my home! Randy was my realtor and in my experience someone that really tried to go above and beyond when it came to my needs. If you are a first time home buyer you really need someone to be honest with you and someone that will have your back because dealing with so many moving parts in a transaction somethings are just bound to go wrong but during those times you need a realtor that will do everything they can to help make the process as smooth as possible. I will try not to go into too much detail but I will say that there were bumps in the road not due to Randy but due to things that will more than likely be unexpected to happen in many transactions but I will tell you this he handled it in the MOST professional way! I initially met Randy about 5 months before I was ready to sell my investment property. Since we were not close by the property we were not able to get a first hand view of the place. When we first talked to him about the sale, he offered to go look at the place for us and give us an honest evaluation. Randy explained that while our investment property was in a nice are, our renters definitely gave the place a "lived in feeling", and that we would probably want to do some updates and cleaning to get the best asking price we could. Well after 60 days of notice to the tenants, we finally got a firsthand view of the place, and Randy was spot on. We started a renovation in June and finally finished August. Why did it take us so long? Well we wanted to provide a quality home to get the best return on our investment. Through the Reno process Randy was patient and supportive. In the end we were down to 2 realtors and asked each one to make their best sales pitch with. Randy blew us away! He knew the market, has the tools to show the property in the best light, has connections to services like staging (who offered a discount once they knew we were working with Randy), and presented our home for sale in multiple markets. In the end we went with Randy and we actually asked him for advice on listing the house. Now a standard home listed for 260K, but with the work we did and Randy's guidance we settled on a price of 299K. This price brought in a lot of interest and we ultimately sold for well over asking price. After this experience with Randy we have decided to bring him into our small circle of trusted business connections. He is now helping us look for our personal home in the very competitive Bay Area housing market, and other potential 4plex rental properties in the Stockton and Sacramento regions. Noah, the gentleman that runs the Corner Stone office is professional, eager, and just passed his realtors exam.
