I've visited Randy's Barber Shop a couple of times for myself and my toddler son and have had great experiences. Randy's has decades of experience, and it shows. He's taken my vague instructions and given my son and I sharp haircuts. Randy's always up for good conversation, stories, and some laughs. I'll keep coming back to Randy's as long as I'm in Greenville. FYI, there are no appointments, so sometimes you're lucky and there's no line, and sometimes there's a line, but it's gone quick for me. I've lived in Sherman, TX for a year and in that time the only barber I've found that's worth the money is in Howe. I stopped by Randy's today (24 October 2025) as a last resort and I'm glad I did! A quick, professional, cut with a razor trim, he shaped my beard and gave me the haircut I've wanted since I left San Antonio. Fast, friendly, no "style over substance" nonsense. This was bar none the absolute best haircut experience I've ever had. I'm 59 years old, so I have so many to weigh this one against - still the best. Rami listened closely to what I wanted, studied the pictures I brought with me, and turned out a haircut even better than I imagined. Randy added his decades of expertise as well. I've been using Randy for months now. He's old school and good. I will say this... he takes a lunch break and he takes it serious. I went one time during lunch and the door was locked. So I turned to walk back to my car. He came out and said he was on lunch, probably like I was on lunch. Basically he said he deserves a lunch break like I deserve one. So if you can't handle someone that doesn't mince words, don't go here. But dang the guy can cut hair and I'd rather someone tell me what they want / need rather than me guessing. I've had 4 experiences with Randy. Two, he was extremely nice, cordial, and fun to be around. The other two, he made me feel like it bothered him to even be in his presence. Today, I went to get a haircut and he opened the door and said in a stern voice. "you can come in, but I'm going to eat my chips and you are not going to get a haircut. Do I need to explain myself further, or do you understand?" He was rude, obnoxious, and he is obviously bipolar. I was in shock to be treated with such disrespect. Nobody deserves to be treated like he treated me. I'll never go back. Go there at your own risk. He may be nice, preaching good things one day, but he may be an obnoxious jerk the next. I went to this barbershop in order to get a haircut (recommended by my father) in October/September of 2019 and got humiliated instead. I arrived in with a fair amount of people that were there already including his family who were kind. I was aware of a sign at the front door that mentioned not using my phone inside which I did use it to text my folks where I was. Anyways, Randy was cutting hair and asked how I came to be there which I mentioned that it was my father. He asked if my father was (described his appearance/vehicle) which I confirmed then he told me that I needed to leave or he would get the cops. I nervously got up and walked out the door which he locked behind me while everyone sat in an awkward silence. I was very confused that I called my dad if he had done something wrong like not pay or tip which my father was just as surprised to hear that I got kicked out. My father and I only went once and never came back due to his bizarreness. Hopefully he treats other people better. read more

They messed up my hair they didn't even know what a razor fade was I had to explain the details and randy cut too much on one side I would not recommend going there it's dirty and the shop had a funky smell horrible place to geget a hair cut. read more
