First, they do accept appointments Tuesday through Thursday and they now have five barbers, so the wait for walk-ins is not as bad as it was when they first opened. Second, this is a full service Barbershop that does everything from your typical crew cut to off the wall skullets (yes that's a cut that people actually request), as well as epic beard skulpting. If you want to go for a couple hours to hang out and enjoy what it used to be like to get your hair cut and have the full experience, 1885 is your place. Upon entering I noticed that the…read morebarber was wearing a mask on my visit (which was important to me during the COVID pandemic). I also noticed the care in making sure his tools and chair were properly cleaned after each customer. Dylan really pays attention to detail to make sure his customers are pleased with his work. His rates are comparable to other shops in town but I believe he offers more value. He even shaved the back of my neck with a straight razor (which wasn't an option at my previous barber).
