It takes something truly exceptional for me to give a one-star rating, but this experience earned it. As a first-time customer, I was immediately given a very sales-heavy introduction and pressured to sign up for their membership club before I had even received a haircut. That was off-putting, but I decided to give them a chance. Unfortunately, the haircut itself was disappointing. I would honestly compare the quality to a budget chain salon, and my wife ended up fixing parts of it when I got home. Normally, I would have simply decided not to return and moved on. However, the bigger issue came afterward. When you book online, they keep your credit card on file and apparently schedule follow-up appointments automatically. I was never aware that another appointment had been booked, and when I didn't show up, I was charged 100% of the haircut cost. Being charged the full service amount for an appointment I didn't knowingly schedule is, in my opinion, an extremely questionable business practice. At the very least, customers should be clearly informed and required to actively confirm future appointments before being charged for missing them. To their credit, when I called and explained the situation, they did refund the charge. I appreciate that they made it right in the end. However, between the aggressive membership sales pitch, the poor haircut, and the surprise appointment charge, I can't recommend this business and won't be returning. I would strongly encourage potential customers to read the fine print and pay close attention to any future appointments that may be scheduled after your visit.

He had a pedicure and a beard treatment. He loved his pedicure and the complimentary old fashioned. I even had a margarita while I waited.
