We've been going to Ricky for months. Hes very professional and the conversations are always pretty upbeat. I work in a job that has strict hair length rules, and he gets the job done. I've always leave all cleaned up. I often request a beard and hair trim. I usually go see him once a month, I have plans to see him again this week. I have never seen Ricky ever be rude, hes proud of his work and he does an amazing job. I never leave disappointed. I've even brought my picky teenage son in for a trim before our Hawaii trip this summer. The barbershop is amazingly clean. We have never had an issue with the customer service, hes always delivers. On a rainy day, over 2 years ago, i was getting my cars oil changed across the street from this amazing Barbershop. I walked in, was welcomed and was lucky enough to be squeezed in between appointments with Sean, he did amazing work, quick and enjoyed getting to know him. Fast forward to now, despite having less hair, I have seen Sean monthly, and have never had a below five star experience. Sean has become a friend and I have sent anyone to him that is looking for a hair cut or beard trim. With now around 12 hours spent in a chair at Redwood, I can see the kindness shown to children. This is the best barber shop in Folsom/EDH area, Ive tried them all. The vibes are good and conversations are fun. Sean is my regular barber. I've been coming here for a bout 2 years and I book with Sean weekly. He does all different hair styles but i always get a bald fade and beard trim/taper. Sean is just a genuinely nice guy and fun to talk to. All of the staff here are friendly and professional. You won't get the uninviting/dismissive "cool kids club" vibe that you do at other shops in the area. I've also been cut by other barbers there when Sean is not working and I highly recommend Bella and Jason as well. The overall shape isn't accurate, and the transitions between the different lengths are uneven and choppy -- it looks more like waves rather than a clean, blended fade. I've been coming to Redwood Barbershop since i moved to Folsom 2+ years ago. Sean has lowered my ears 1x a month and I couldn't ask for a better barber. Line up, fade, mullet, faux hawk he's done it all for me over the years as well as a beard trim and shave. I preach flexibility in my dad job but I always book in advance to make sure I get Sean. He's everything you would want in a barber aka poor man's shrink. To be honest the entire barbershop is legit with some flat screens that have the game on and some solid merch. If you're into hard working barbers that do excellent work Bella and Hassan I've gone to in a pinch as well. Can't beat the old school barbershop vibe either. read more

He did trim a little bit but when I got home and actually got a good look at it, the hair was uneven everywhere on top. If you haven't been in yet definitely go. Everyone is friendly and my boys love the stickers and pool table. I've been taking my two boys (5 and 8) to Sean for their haircuts. He's quick and the fades look great (skin fades, zero fades, scissor cuts). The last time he even hooked my oldest up with a Thunderbolt in the side of his head for his basketball team. The place is great, cool vibe. Sean is me and my son's barber. He is by far the best barber I have had. He doesn't rush the cut, takes his time to make sure everything lines up and fades evenly. And if there is something you want slightly adjusted, he has no problem taking more time to fix it just how you like it.
