BEWARE!! DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP!! The range itself was decent however their corporate policies and membership cancellation is a scam. I am currently talking with their support on charges for the top teir membership for months which they never linked to my email/online account. When I logged on, it said I had no membership and there was no way to cancel. So I assumed that there was no membership. Now they are denying a refund for the membership charges for 5 months eventhough it was RangeUSA error. Thankfully I have full screen caps of my portal saying no membership, email strings with their support saying they wont fix the problem and their policy saying that The only way to cancel a membership is online through my account portal. Had a good time at this range. Firing area was clean and easy to use. The store was easy to find things and had a good selection. The ammunition prices are similar to other retail stores. You can bring outside ammunition for your own firearms. Staff was friendly and helpful. read more

Range was clean and well vented. Lighting was generally good but did not fully illuminate targets at Max distance of 25 yds. Target carriers had solid clips and moved target down and back quickly. Only people shooting were myself and a friend shooting pistols on 2 bays and they placed another shooter who had a short barreled rifle right next to us. SBR's are Loud, I was wearing plugs and 30 db over ear protectors and it was uncomfortable. He should have been put at least on the other end of the range and preferably on the 2nd range. There were 5 employees and never more than 2 customers so it would not have been a problem as far as I could tell to have one guy on each range. I think it makes it much more pleasant for customers if the really loud guns are put on a separate range when possible. My pet peeve as I don't need any more hearing loss. I appreciate the fact that they had someone on the range as I have been some places where there were shooters not handling their guns safely. That is an I'm outa here situation for me. All the people we interacted with were knowledgeable and friendly and it seemed like a place where anyone would feel welcome. No Militia vibe but if that's your thing it wouldn't have been an issue. Prices were reasonable and if you're a frequent shooter they had memberships that certainly would make sense. read more

DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! Highest priced ammo in the country. Very Small overpriced gun inventory. Disrespectful to paying customers who use their range. They treat MILITARY VETERANS like GARBAGE by talking to them with tones and verbiage like they're 5 year old children on their range. They don't care if you were a decorated Officer in the Navy or General in the ARMY you're dirt to Range USA. Even if you haven't broken ONE of their range rules their staff and management are extremely DISRESPECTFUL, ornery and pompous shouting at you like your back in boot camp and basic training. Range USA has some sort of internal bet between their employees how many people they can kick outta their range or permanently BAN for the PETTIEST of reasons. No other range in the area operates or acts like this but Range USA does. When you're on the Range USA range they're so called range "officers" are standing inches behind you screaming at the top of their lungs with no mask on spreading Corona, bumping and grinding on your hind parts blowing your ear drums out. You tell their "managers" and they do absolutely nothing whatsoever with a SMIRK on their face letting staffers operate with absolute impunity treating paying customers on their range like SCUM regardless of race, religion, no religion, color, creed, gender, or economic level. At Range USA it's $17 to shoot half an hour plus an additional $5 for a waiver of liability, $75 for FFL transfer. Inflation is already SKY HIGH and their outlandish pricing is taking gas out your tank and food off your family's table. If you go a couple of exits down 270 you get to Vance and it's $13 for half an hour, no fee for waiver of liability, $50 for FFL transfer, huge gun selection, dirt cheap ammo, and no matter what area you're in within their establishment their staffers and management show you the upmost respect. Here's the BEST PART about Vance...NO ONES standing over your shoulder on the range as you shoot! Isn't that what the waiver of liability is for? To be left alone and shoot in peace? You don't have to smell anyone's BAD BREATH while they feel you up as you're trying to shoot. Range USA perceives this behavior 100% acceptable as they perceive EVERYONE who walks through their doors as kindergarten CHILDREN. Also all their responses to "negative" reviews aren't even real people or real numbers but ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE BOTS! They try to give the appearance as if they care but they give ZERO FCKS! All these are ABSOLUTE FACTS. Please do your Black Friday, Christmas and any other day of the year 2A shopping ELSEWHERE and don't go to Range USA. I recently purchased a sig 320 pro axg online as they were running an online sale. When I placed the order this location was out of stock. I was pleasantly surprised when I received notification that it was ready for pick up less than 12hrs after I made my purchase. I went to pick it up and waited about 1 1/2hrs to deal with the BG check and the fact that there was another customer also picking up a gun that he had purchased online. I was sadly put on delay so I left without my gun. I went back a few days later and picked up the gun. Both times the gun sat on the back counter and was never set on the case for me to look at or even handle., in fact it was not even offered to me. Looking back this was clearly something I should have requested but I wasn't concerned as I have already looked at this model various times and knew what I was purchasing. This model is an optics ready piece and I tried to buy an optic there but they were out of stock. I left the store and never even opened the gun case until I finally got my optic and was ready to install it. As I went to safety check it I realized that there was an excessive amount of powder residue on the barrel and slide. After further review I noticed this gun had been fired more than the normal test fire from the factory. I found that the grips actually had dirt embedded in them. I immediately contacted the store and spoke with the GM Josh who was very dismissive and basically called me a liar and was very insistent that this was not possible. He did tell me he verified on video that I never once touched or was offered to inspect the gun when I was in the store. I reached out to Range USA customer service online and was treated equally as poor. I also found out that they received this gun in October 2022 and was on display there until I purchased it December of 2023. They never disclosed that to me at all as I probably would have waited for one that was not handled and dry fired hundreds of times in that 14 month period. I also reached out to Sig Sauer with photos and the information of the gun and was told directly by them that there is no way this gun left their facility in this condition. To be clear I was not looking to return or exchange the gun at all but wanted to know why this happened and see what they had to say about it. No apology or even an offer to take a look at it and dig into the facts of the situation. Highly recommend that if you purchase anything from this place you inspect it thoroughly before leaving. Poor customer service! Highly recommend shopping at an honest and trustworthy place, maybe your local pawn shop would have better morals and integrity. Update due to comment: I have reached out to you via your support link and was treated equally as bad. I would love to actually get a phone call from someone beyond the GM Josh. I would love to share the story in depth. I'm half tempted to ship it to your headquarters for you to look at it yourself. read more

Such a fun place to be. Went in to do 30 minutes and I wish I did an hour. Time flys when you're having fun. The staff was extremely friends and all of them had smiles on their face. I can see myself coming here, a lot. The shooting range was clean, 1 lever system to send out your target and they had a guy on staff back there the whole time. I was there (Grove City) today and had a very good expereince. I was in and out with a well priced G20 ($100 less than the same gun at blackwing) in 45 minutes. At Vance you can spend that much time waiting for your ticket to be called. Certainly a smaller selection than Vance, but if you know what you want check the website or call ahead. I read the other reviews before posting this. One thing I noted is that one person was upset because the staff was to eager to help and another said he was ignored. I was pleased with my experience, but understand that can depend on the folks on staff at the time. I thought the comments on prices weren't really fair based on my experience, but prices vary by what you are looking for I guess. read more

I spent 3,000 dollars on a new rifle and a range membership. They told me that with the membership that the range is free. Then I walk over to register for the range and they charged me another $10. Then we found out that the magazines that they sold me didn't fit my gun. I started to shoot with the one magazine that came with the gun and I accidentally hit the unprotected wire that moves the target forward and backward. They immediately kicked me out of the range very rudely and without a refund. I was very upset. I will never come back here! read more

Contacted customer service with issue of overcharge: "II was in Saturday with a small group including 2 members at 2:15p. Asked for a waiver for $5. Instead was charged for a range lane $20. I like shoot point blank, but have some gripes with it. some of the pros: memberships are fairly priced the range is nice and well regulated the selection of firearms is fair and regularly rotates ammo is cheaper than I can get online or anywhere else. the cons: When I walk in, I get three associates asking me what I want or what I am there for. I want at least 5 seconds to LOOK before I get bombarded with employees. a couple months ago I came in for ammo and I didn't make it the 3 steps to the ammo shelves before I got stopped. I pretty much turned around and left. I have bought from here quite a bit, so much so that I know most of the employees by name. That being said, the only person there who is personable is Connor. I am not saying anyone needs to remember me or who I am, but when people take the time to understand their customer, or remember what they are interested in, or just know what they are in the market for, its easier to talk to them. Because of how I am treated, I almost refuse to buy any firearm unless Connor is there to sell it to me. This one may no longer apply, but in 2020, making an online reservation for the range meant nothing. I made a reservation for 1pm one Sunday, arrived early, but was told I would have to wait until 3pm because of current capacity limits. Since 2021, the lanes have never been too packed to shoot. the last gripe I have seems that if I have a question about anything, I have to be directed to a manager. "If I order something online, how long does it usually take to get here?" let me ask my manager. "Can I order *insert firearm here* to be delivered?" let me ask the manager. the only time I asked a question that was answered without a manager was "it says online you have this here, is it available?" with the answer being our online store is rarely up to date. tldr: Great place, fair prices, off-putting staff. read more

Do Not Go Here. Store is extremely overpriced but my main issue is with staff. I go to shoot at the range minimum 4x a month usually once a week and I have been doing so for years. Never had any issues at any other range. This place has boomer Range Officers who act more like hall monitors. They constantly interrupt shooters and I watched them kick out 2 different customers for "rapid fire" with a revolver of all things smh. Had no problems shooting, staff/range safety was very cool and gave me some advice on my gun and carrying. We've been Elite members for a year with them. All of the staff are great; very knowledgeable, go out of their ways to help you find the right gun for you and accessories. They really take the time to give you the best experience possible, and their indoor range is awesome. My husband and I have bought 3 guns here, and just recently bought one online and had it transferred to SPB, that process was smooth and seamless. I wish they kept a consistent inventory of 9mm and shot gun (slug and buckshot) ammo. Other than that, you never have to deal with lines like you do with Vance Outdoors, and frankly, the staff at SPB are more personable. read more

Easily the worst gun range you could ever go to, I brought my AR-15 that is a palmetto build. No bump, no binary, the thing is bare bones. I shot my semi automatic firearm that is not a class 3 weapon at a rate of fire that is inherent to a semi automatic weapon. Immediately kicked out with no warning because I "rapid fired." I asked "rapid fire? This isn't a class 3 weapon and there is no binary on this." They said 3 shots in a second. If they knew anything about firearms they would know that there is not a good probability of that being the case with no modifications done to the rifle. It's ridiculous that I have to buy a weapon in order to buy ammo or I have to purchase time on the range to buy ammo. Not everyone has $1000 to spend on a weapon plus ammo. I shoot at the range often enough for the past couple years. To be fair, the range service is fine (up to the date of this review), but this place is "overstaffed" and people don't seem to care. I say this in that, while the range service is fine, on multiple occasions I have stood in front of the counter interested in looking at guns and not one of 5 or 6 staff moving around in the vicinity asked if I needed help. This isn't just me being impatient, this is me standing at the counter for nearly 5 minutes. I have even tried to stop looking and look at staff directly to see if they make eye contact, and not one bothered to look at me or even say "we'll be with you in a bit". I have even stood within 5 feet of a couple staff that decided it was more important to hold personal conversation with each other than ask me if I needed help. I was actually interested in buying a firearm. Their loss, I went to Vances and bought two that day. Another occasion as I was checking into the range I asked about potential military/le discounts to one of the younger staff members and the response I got was "I don't know". No attempt to find out. Just a shrug of the shoulders along with an "I don't know". Customer service like that blows my mind. If it wasn't for the pain free range service and nice range, it would get a 1 star from me and I likely would not return. read more
