Moving in should be an exciting experience, but this management company made it unnecessarily…read moredifficult from the start. The move-in process was rocky and they showed little interest in making it smooth or welcoming. More recently, I reached out about a legitimate concern -- a comparable unit in the complex being advertised at a lower rent than what I'm paying. Rather than having a real conversation about it, I was given a vague explanation and told to look it up myself. When I followed up for more details, I was shut down abruptly with a one-line response. What bothered me most wasn't just the answer -- it was the attitude. There was a real opportunity here to treat a long-term, on-time-paying tenant with some basic respect and transparency. Instead, I felt like an inconvenience. If you're considering renting here, just know that once you're in, don't expect much warmth or support from management when issues come up. I really love my apt. but there are a lot of draw backs with the management company.

HORRIBLE COMPANY WITH POOR COMMUNICATION SKILLS! Do not and I mean DO NOT do business with this…read morecompany! They do not care about their tenants at all! They don't return phone calls, you can't get them on the phone, they all have their phones on DND! it takes them DAYS to return an email about anything especially maintenance requests. Maintenance is HORRIBLE, absolutely NONE of them know what they're doing! They don't fix anything, they only make the problem worse!! They get you in their rental properties and abandon you and will only reach out if you don't pay rent. Code enforcement needs to inspect all of their properties!! The only one that was knowledgeable and business friendly was Regina but she left this sorry ass company. They left an elderly tenant in a house for over a year without any air conditioning!! Piss poor management from hell.

My experience with Regal realtors has been so shocking. I caution anyone working with Ellie (agent)…read moreand Melanie Loar (manager to Ellie). I was the buyer in a recent transaction where Ellie was the seller's agent. After closing & funds were released, the seller entered the home and removed appliances causing damages. I have been trying to get in contact Ellie for a month to work this out but she has not responded to any emails, messages or phone calls after the sale was completed. This left me no choice but to reach out to her boss, Melanie. I did this because I did not want the seller to be "left in the dark" and sued due to Ellie's lack of responsiveness. After speaking with Melanie's manager, the situation was even worse. She was dismissive, rude, and defensive. She tried to claim that we should have all "communicated" about removing appliances which is completely ABSURD. The contract is clear: once funds are released and closing occurs, the seller has no right to enter the home or remove anything. This is not a matter of "he said, she said." This was a breech of contract. As buyers & sellers, we rely on professionals to guide us through this process. Ellie simply closed this deal and ghosted everyone. Melanie L. Lacks professionalism, knowledge, and accountability.

But that's where everything goes on the decline. I can truly say they are horrible at their job, because i've done their job before. I have not had to go such a pain for a rental. The last time I experienced this much proof of anything was with a mortgage underwriter, which is expected in the mortgage industry. Communication is horrible, and that's if i'm being optimistic. I was told several times by different staff members & Realtors they will call me back with answers to my concerns or questions and literally days later I would have to call and email to get a hardline answer. I don't complain about communication often, but this was a horrible problem with several in the office and I even verified they were licensed Texas Realtors. There are way too many options in Dfw to deal with their bad customer service.

The new company even told me that Citywide was too inexperienced to take on what they did with investor's properties. The accounting, screening of tenants, communications, especially my managing agent was just another car salesman managing my newly built rental properties! Took them several months to evict a non paying tenant who by the way wasn't even qualified to be renting because she was on government assistance..probably who couldn't hold a job. I highly recommend anyone looking to manage their properties to look elsewhere!

My wife and I have worked with Richard Chambers from M&D twice. He found an amazing house for us and we recently closed. Richard went above and beyond at every step. When searching for a home, he stuck to our parameters, had a detailed knowledge of each candidate, and focused on those with the best value per sq foot. We spent months casually looking at listings online and texting about them. He saw many houses with us, available at a moment's notice and not even remotely pushy--he was more cautious about finding the perfect house than we were! When it was time to make an offer, he was an incredible advocate for us. Richard was extremely diligent about finding any potential defects with the house. He is a fair but firm negotiator, always interacting with the seller in good faith. Richard was an absolute life saver throughout escrow. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of our P&S agreement--this saved us a lot of time and money in the end. He was also a resource every time we ran into trouble with any other aspect of the sale, any time, day or night. We could not have done this without him. Richard went far beyond what could be expected of a realtor. He is a wonderful person and will be my only realtor as long as I live in Texas.

Our home sale process has become frustrating to say the least due to the dubious maneuvers of the buyer's agent. John gets it and earns EVERY penny of his commision, and more. You cannot go wrong working with John McKennie. ~JB
