Daughter super excited to get braces. Reception folks are the rudest I've dealt with. Zero follow ups to schedule appointments to adjust braces. This is so easy to do but they don't even care. Take the money and that's it. Never go here if you expect any modicum of service. read more

Not the same level of service after change in ownership. We were really dissapointed with their Rangewood location. Very unorganized, rude front desk and they have no regard for your time( called back 30 mins after appt time). Very vague information given from the dental techs. We had to ask questions in order to get correct answers. We had braces put on for our 13 year old son when Dr watts was practicing. If we would have known that he wouldnt be supervising the entire process, we would have gone elsewhere. read more

We came into Colorado Springs for a funeral for my husband's brother who had had cancer. My daughter had a band pop off her bracket (not one that was supposed to come off) and a wire that was poking her. Our family that lived near by recommended us to a location slightly outside of Colorado Springs. The receptionist named Billy gave us an appointment the day that we called. When we arrived she checked us in promptly. They have such a beautiful office. Both of my daughter's issues were fixed within five minutes by assistant Denis and Dr.Sally. Afterwards the receptionist shared some of her own families struggles with cancer. She was such a sweet and encouraging lady! Highly recommend this office and will use again if needed! read more

Changed ownership in fall 2024 and service has deteriorated. Entire staff is extremely rude. They do not believe Medicaid recipients deserve orthodontic care as evidenced by their unwillingness to pursue Medicaid. They will say that they accept Medicaid but they will not call or work to get your case covered. Other orthodintists will work with you, so look elsewhere if you have Medicaid. Furthermore they will nickel and dime their clients. Previous owners were amazing and grew this practice to what it is today. Current owners see their patients walking as dollar signs. read more

My wife had a horrible experience at the time of the removal of her braces and is now in more pain than she was in prior to getting corrections. Now we were told we would have to pay more to correct mistakes that were made by assistants who in addition to Dr. Kaplan assured my wife everything was fine. It was not. Do your research on other offices before committing to this one. read more

This review is in relation to phone customer service. I have never had any issues with the dental work and believe the orthodontists here are amazing, and this is why I am writing this review- I now have a bad experience and am uncomfortable about it. I had braces put on and my child is now getting her braces done here. I called to reschedule an appointment. The receptionist I spoke with was very rude and snapped at me when I tried to clarify that I could not make anything before a certain time. I actually told her that at the beginning of the phone call, and she kept listing morning appointments. I was trying to save her time. I was very kind and said I just wanted to clarify that I could not do morning. I have never felt so spoken down to. I am pretty disappointed in the customer service, and I believe this person needs some reminders on how to speak to people who are paying for services. read more

We love Dr. Kaplan and her staff. The care and attention we receive here is worth every penny. I also love the flexible scheduling. We highly recommend this practice. read more

I got my braces through Rangewood Orthodontics about a year ago. At first I was excited to have them straighten my teeth. It seemed like a good fit. However, I have since been very disappointed in the service I have received. They are impersonal and called to reschedule my appointments on 3 separate occasions. They even insisted that I kept my braces on for an additional month and a half after telling me that they no longer needed adjustment because they were unable to schedule me sooner. I've just had to replace my retainer. I was not spoken to by the attendee or given any expectations about the process. read more

My daughter had a wonderful experience with Dr. Kaplan and the rest of the team at Rangewood! When my daughter first came in they made her feel comfortable and reassured her when she was scared to get the treatment done. There is a dramatic change in my daughters teeth and bite! I'm going to miss bringing my daughter here when we move. They also have a rewards system where patients can earn points and redeem them for gift cards. read more

My 11 year old's review of his orthodontist (I have also been very happy with them): I love Rangewood Orthodonics all of the workers there are really nice and help out. The waiting room is my favorite because the chairs are really comfortable and there are magazines. I like the toothbrushes at the sink that already have toothpaste on them those are really cool. I love going to my appointments and I always look forward to go to the next one. read more

Service is top notch! Customer focused and friendly! Great experience. We went in for our oldest son's braces, and so far so good! Can't wait for the finished product. Staff is professional and do whatever it takes to get the job done. Thank you! read more

Incompetent. Took 4 times to create a retainer and still not right. I spent over 3 years and $5k to correct my teeth. The staff didn't take the imprint for the correct retainer ver and over. Also, not all the glue was taken off my teeth with the brackets were removed. I became frustrated and tired of working with the staff that couldn't seem to get the retainer correct and in one instance didn't close a bracket when I close to getting them off and ended up messing it up and adding 6 months. I finally had to leave and find a different orthodontist and I will not recommend anyone else to rangewood as the staff are not overseen or maybe it's a form of discrimination against myself and my family, either way I received extremely poor service and treatment when I was a client. Which is funny because I had two of my daughters go here prior and then myself and we still have three children needing braces. I'm taking my business elsewhere. Hopefully Rangewood cleans things up in the office or they'll go downhill and they won't be able see it until it's too late. read more

I recently experienced a comedy (or tragedy) of errors with them. Three months ago, I went in to get my permanent retainer taken off (as I was getting a filling replaced on my front tooth). This seemingly easy procedure led to SIX different return visits with them, as every time I went it, something inevitably went wrong -- including, but not limited to: them not reading my file and rushing through my treatment, a tech adding permanent retainer glue on top of old glue because she "didn't realize it was there," then adding so much permanent retainer glue that I couldn't completely close my mouth (this actually happened TWICE, as neither time was my bite tested), fitting an overnight retainer on top of a partially completed permanent retainer (??) so that the overnight retainer is now rendered obsolete, overdrilling my teeth to remove glue (so much so that my partner literally asked me if I had "chipped my teeth" and to the extent I couldn't even brush my teeth without pain). And now, while they attempted to patch me up, my teeth are still PAINFULLY sensitive to heat, cold, and touch (I was told that they would "remineralize..." hasn't happened yet), and, what's more, there's STILL residual glue on many of my teeth that I'm now scared to get removed. For a procedure that should have been SO simple with them, they left me with a permanently aching mouth, patched-up holes in my teeth, and an ill-fitting retainer. Moreover, when I called them to discuss these issues and sent them a document detailing my treatment, they were defensive and said they would put me in touch with a patient coordinator. This was over a month ago and I have not heard from them since. I feel mangled, botched, and ignored by them -- do yourself a favor, and avoid at all costs. read more

Thank you for telling us about your experience Select Language Your Review Being over 50 and having no idea what to expect with getting braces I was nicely surprised how the team at Rangewood Orthodontics walked me through everything and made me feel comfortable before the real process began. The team worked well together and were very knowledgeable about they were doing. Dr. Kaplan is very professional and really cares about the patient and getting the treatment done correctly. The Dr. And her assistant were gentle handed and left me feeling like I made the right decision in choosing their office. read more

When you choose an orthodontist and you want them to be a perfectionist, then this is where you want to go. Friendly staff and hygienists and we love Dr. Watts too. Several locations make it convenient and we were always able to schedule an appointment. When our original orthodontist retired, I was really bummed, but not for long. We have been pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail in making my daughter's teeth and bite "perfect". Can't say enough good things! read more

This place is always super clean and has state of the art equipment. I think because Dr. Kaplan takes care to stay up to date on the newest procedures, my care went much quicker than quoted. I was told 18 months, it is just past a year now and I'm currently waiting to get my braces off. Dr. Kaplan herself is very polite as is most of the staff. Sometimes, I was given misinformation regarding when my appointments were, which was slightly frustrating. Overall, I was happy with my experience here. Also both locations are relatively convenient to get to. read more

I have never looked forward to going to the dentist or orthodontist in my life. Then I started coming to Rangewood Orthodontics and it was so comfortable. Now I actually look forward to going. It's a nice feeling. Everyone here, from the staff to the doctor (Dr. Watts), are super friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this place for all orthodontic care! read more

Rangewood Orthodontics is AMAZING!! Their staff is knowledgeable, professional, kind, and very encouraging toward the children that are treated there. Making appointments is super easy and if a bracket gets broken, no need to worry because they are flexible to get you scheduled right away. They celebrate you getting braces put on and give you a HUGE celebration with candy apples and popcorn for when you get your braces off. They encourage maintence visits post braces to ensure you don't let your teeth go crooked again. From start to finish this team of passionate dental professionals are Above and Beyond AWESOME!! Thank you for the great experience and for treating both my children. read more

I highly recommend Rangewood Orthodontics. The staff is friendly, the scheduling is flexible given all their locations, and the doctors are highly knowledgeable. The other aspect I liked was their flexible payment options when insurance would not cover the bulk of my orthodontic needs. Hopefully don't need them again but definately recommend. read more

Our son Jacob has been coming to Rangewood Orthodontics for 4 years. He had major work that needed to be done and Rangewood put him on an excellent plan. Today we celebrate because we have come to the end of this crazy journey. The staff has been excellent, responsive, and great to work with. The facilities are top notch and I've loved the special attention the staff has given our son. We highly recommend Rangewood Orthodontics to our friends and family. read more

We were transfered over to Rangewood orthodontics after my daughters previous ortho retired, and while I went in with an open mind, Rangewood orthodontics is not a place I would recommend for several reasons. She was treated like an assembly line. Quick in and out and every time we were seen we had to come back in for a wire that was left to long. Things are just overlooked because they overbook themselves. My daughter was seen in the downtown office and while Dr. Kaplan is so nice she is constantly being rushed. We have waited for over an hour and a half one time but our average wait is about an hour, pretty ridiculous. I wrote a letter to the office manager Cindy expressing my concerns and it has been 3 weeks now and I still haven't heard back from her. When I put a request in to transfer my daughter I got an immediate response back with instructions on how to transfer out. Horrible customer service if you are so eager to give up patients than to work out a resolution. This is not an ortho that I would recommend to anyone. read more

My life has been destroyed from braces that I got from Rangewood Orthodontics! Before braces I was healthy, happy, had entirely great teeth & gums. I decided to get braces for a tooth that stuck out & bothered me (minor cosmetic change). I wish I would've never came here &/or never got braces. Now I'm suffering with lots of complications & my teeth/mouth/life/face are worse than when I started. Even with a couple mild/moderate crowding I had before (my teeth were not bad at all before) I would always smile, I haven't smiled since the day my braces were removed & this nightmare started. Now I learned I've been lied to, deceived, lack of a lot of things that I wish I would've known before I signed up. read more

Rangewood Orthodontics is the third orthodontist I have seen, giving me my second set of braces, and they are by far the best one yet. I've always had problems with my teeth, and most of them were due to doctors not communicating and/or making premature decisions. Honestly, I wasn't too excited about having to try out another new place, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. Kaplan was very straight forward and let me know exactly what would happen and when. It was clear her goal for me was to get everything done in a timely manner, and so far the whole process has been way ahead of schedule. Not only does that make my life easier, but it also helps out with cost. Every staff member who has worked with me is polite and professional, and always does a good job to make me feel comfortable. Although I go to the downtown office the majority of the time, I have also visited the Rangewood office, and both are very clean and inviting. I'm very happy with my experiences at Rangewood Orthodontics, and I would absolutely suggest them to anyone else who needs orthodontic care. read more

I love my braces they are very comfortable and never hurt. Sometimes I even forget they are on my teeth.

The staff at Rangewood Orthodontics is amazing, friendly, professional, and wonderful with patients of all ages. My son is on the young side for braces and I could tell he was nervous going to get his braces put on. As soon as we walked through the door everyone there did a great job putting him at ease! The process of putting the braces on was smooth and easy on my son (and myself). He is actually excited about this whole thing! The office is beautiful and CLEAN (a big deal to any parent), and the waiting room has plenty to keep kids busy while waiting (Xbox!). Love the incentive idea to keep the kids brushing and caring for their braces, my son has big plans for the gift cards he wants to earn! All around, great experiences at Rangewood Orthodontics! read more
