Horrible experience. Contracted them to DJ our wedding. Our DJ never responded to us after several attempts to contact him. If you are ever contracted to have someone named Rolland DJ your event, do yourself a favor and cancel in advance. Terribly unprofessional. We contacted DJ Chicago after several attempts to have this rectified and they assisted us immediately. Much, much better experience. This business is a complete joke. read more

Somehow Charlene Milne from Rank Entertainment learned enough about our style and the feel we wanted at our wedding to recommend the perfect violinist (who learned a Rush and U2 song) and the perfect band -- Spider Saloff. Charlene and her husband are the kind of team you always want to work with--they get to know YOU and help you find the right entertainment for your event. No cookie cutter DJs or bands. read more

Established in 1999.

Richard Milne who started Local Anesthetic many years ago on 93 XRT-Fm also started Rank Entertainment, Inc in 1999. We have the best ears and the best knowledge about music than anyone else in Chicago. We do not represent any bands. We decided from day 1 to work for the client. For example, if you phone our company and ask for a jazz trio, we can provide 5 different options for your event. We would propose 5 different sounds providing jazz music. We have found this is what makes our company different from our competition. Rank has the greatest depth of an artist list. .
