We hired Jayne Weddings to help with our wedding at the end of July 2017. We interviewed a few other planners, but decided to go with Jayne Weddings after talking with Katie on the phone. She had experience with food truck weddings and had worked with Big Star before, which was one of the trucks we were looking into to cater dinner. We chose their month of coordination package and felt so relieved and excited when Nicole stepped in towards the end of June. Nicole really understood our vision from the beginning and we took a lot of her suggestions throughout the planning process. Throughout July, she handled all of our vendors and met with us a few times...was constantly checking in and making sure that we felt good about everything. It was so nice to know we had someone else to make sure we weren't forgetting about any of the little details! On the day of, I had two girls from her team with my bridesmaids and I when we were getting ready at the hotel. They made sure we were staying on time and helped us out in so many ways! i could tell you a bunch of things about Katie and her team, but you might not believe me. would you believe that, one week before our wedding and two days before we were scheduled to drop decor off at Katie's house, she gave birth to her gorgeous son? would you believe that she emailed me about going into labor from her hospital bed? would you believe that we dropped the decor off, like, one hour after she and her husband brought the baby home from the hospital? THIS is how cool Katie is. she is the most calm, collected human being i have ever met. believe it or not. we hired Jayne Weddings early in the game just for setup and tear down of the decorations i had. we spoke to several planners-- Jayne Weddings was the most reasonably priced for what we needed (i think we actually robbed them?), and actually the coolest. she asked thoughtful questions on the initial interview and really seemed interested in my fiancé's and my story. as Katie had a baby literally days before our wedding, she had Caroline running the show on the day of our event (and had planned for her to be there just in case of this exact thing). Caroline is some kind of tiny, spritely art genius-- she pulled off our vision for our dinner and reception setups, making everything look even better that i had imagined in my dreams. i had not one single worry on the day of our wedding, and i have Katie and Caroline to thank. you definitely need to hire Jayne Weddings. they are spectacular, and took care of every minute detail. i would unequivocally hire them again. read more

My only regret with hiring Katie from Jayne Weddings is that we didn't bring her on from the very beginning and involve her much more. When things started to take on a life of their own, we hired Katie to come on board and see our vision through. She probably saved our soon-to-be-marriage. We were going crazy with planning, and we couldn't possibly handle all of the little details ourselves. Enter Katie. Not only did she help us maintain our sanity, but she also has amazing style. The "look" of our wedding was very, very important to us. We didn't trust anyone else to interpret our day except Katie, and that trust wasn't misplaced. Everyone said that our wedding decor was some of the coolest they'd ever seen. Katie took our ideas and perfected them! She listened to our wants and needs. She never made us feel like a burden. We hired Katie as the month-of coordinator and event designer for our wedding. We had a great experience working with Katie and her team at Jayne events -- we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding planner, event planner, or event designer. When we met Katie, we had already found most of our vendors We needed someone who could help us bring it all together as we approached our wedding day. She helped refine our color palette and design choices, then took the lead on sourcing everything needed for the day of the wedding. She had some great creative suggestions for things like signage and table decor. Katie was especially awesome on our wedding day. Her calm demeanor and careful attention to detail gave us peace of mind. Both our families commented on how her team was friendly and easy to work with. And at least someone from her team was there ALL day - Caroline arrived to the venue even before we did and was on hand starting at 10am in case we needed anything while getting ready in the Bridal Suite. We had the ceremony and reception in a single venue, which was pretty much at capacity, so there was a lot to coordinate and a lot of little things that could have "gone wrong." Thankfully the Jayne Events team was on top of everything. Another thing that was really helpful... Katie and Rachel stayed until the very end, and handled clean up and load out so that we could leave and enjoy the after party with friends and family. Also, we loved the Instagram story that Caroline filmed throughout the whole day, capturing all the little details that we were too busy to notice or savor! Jayne Weddings was one of the best decisions/money spent on my wedding. I was planning a wedding in Chicago from Seattle in 5 months time with no plan to visit Chicago before our big day. I recently got married in Sonoma, CA at Gundlach Bundschu Winery and luckily Katie Jayne was available for the weekend! Katie Jayne from Jayne Weddings is the world's best wedding planner. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on my wedding, but hiring her was the best decision we made in the entire wedding process. We hired her as a 30 day out coordinator and for her creative consultation. She was amazing from our first meeting right to the end. I wanted to do a lot of DIY projects for the wedding to save money, but I am not a creative person at all. Her vision helped me pull it together. She never tired or complained about my never-ending emails and questions. And from 30 days out, I didn't have to worry about a thing with my vendors - she flawlessly executed the coordination, setup, and styling of all of our DIY wedding elements. On the day of, I literally didn't worry about a thing. Her & her staff managed the day from A to Z. We got engaged in October 2013. We both live in Atlanta but I am from Chicago and knew we would have our wedding there. We wanted a June wedding in 2014 so we had to plan quickly from afar. Luckily my cousin is a wedding photographer in the city and she knows the wedding industry there very well. Katie from Jayne Weddings came highly recommended as a wedding planner from my cousin. We were even more thrilled to learn that Katie is so creative...she designed amazing decor for us like our pinwheel ceremony backdrop in our wedding colors and personalized table numbers with our childhood pictures. Katie and Jayne Weddings helped me with my wedding last April and did an fantastic job. They were attentive and patient with all of my wants and needs, even as they changed over time. My mom and I wanted to do a lot of the decor elements ourselves, but didn't have the time to make everything and definitely couldn't do the set-up/take-down. It was so nice to be able to depend on Jayne Weddings to take care of it for us and I really appreciated the flexibility with regards to the pieces of wedding planning we wanted and the pieces we didn't need. Jayne Weddings actually worked with us to do our flowers too. Katie was already booked the day of my wedding, so her assistant, Nicole, did our set-up and take-down. She brought everything to our location, which was a bit of a hike from Chicago. She set-up all of the tables, decorations and the ceremony as well. She was prompt and finished well within the timeframe our venue allotted. I barely knew she was there other than the fact that everything looked great! The bridesmaids had just bunches of lavender, which turned out to be a little wilted, because of the warm day, but the bridal bouquet was stunning! It was way more than I could expect without hiring a florist. I can't say enough how great it was knowing someone would be there early to set everything up and stay late to take it all down and keep everything to return to me later.
