I went to my appointment with the thought of removing the toenail, as per all the previous doctors I had shown it to - NP, PCP and even Dermatologists and he made me feel at ease and told me not to worry, and that we will work on it with his treatment (so practical and easy to follow) to eradicate the issue. His office visits were generally overbooked & or visits were cut short. This lead to more visits every week for awhile & uncertain feelings about how to take care of my feet. Now, nearly a year later, another Dr. is giving me the necessary information to continue caring for my feet. I am doing my best to recovery still in a much longer timeframe than Dr. Bembynista advised me of & am disappointed in the overall outcome of the surgeries.

We've met both of our OOP Family max and OOP Family deductible max. The staff insists I still have to pay my individual copay because my individual hasn't been met. I called insurance. They confirmed since we me Family, I don't have an individual copay. They asked me to have Doctors office call them. I did and the woman just argued with me. She said, "I've heard enough. We have over 40 years of experience in the front office..." I interrupted them hung up on her. They don't listen. Doesn't matter how great of a doc he is front office staff killed it for me. We asked why it wasn't covered under the initial charge and the office worker explained that it would have to have been within 10 days of the original appointment. I complained that this is a terrible practice that is predatory and intended to squeeze as much money out of their patients and their insurance company as possible. They claimed they have to operating this way for 40+ years. I would avoid this office like the plague. I'm going to file a complaint with the Kansas Board of Healing Arts if they don't make it right.

He said I needed toe surgery and his surgery days are on Thursdays, "do you want to make an appointment?" My big toe is fine! He needs to retire. No bedside manner. My last visit I had two issues. He left the room before I explained my second issue, then was told by him to make another appointment to discuss the second issue! I am not going back.
