He sold me a so called water softener which is actually only a water conditioner. It is NOT the same as a salt tank softener. When asked if it did the same thing he said yes. Because he would not refund me, I went directly to the product company who did refund the small amount he said he paid for the conditioner minus 25%. However, they had to send my refund through Standard Plumbing who sent it to the plumber (Witt's) who has had the check for over a month and has delayed giving it to me. He will be out NOTHING.

We met with Blue Best late in 2024 to discuss our concern with air temps in our house, specifically temps in our living room and kitchen, which have high ceilings and southern exposure and become uncomfortably hot in summer. We were very clear about our concern, and the salesperson spent hours assessing our home and assured us his proposed system would solve the problem. We accepted the ~$14,000 bid to install a heat pump solution based on that assurance. By summer 2025, the living room and kitchen were still too hot on most sunny days. Despite many service visits and repeated adjustments (baffles, registers, fan speeds, etc.), the issue was never resolved. Blue Best ultimately stated the system was operating as designed and implied the problem was with our home, not their installation.  In our opinion, Blue Best is very good at selling a solution, but not so good at ensuring that solution meets what the customer needs. Two independent HVAC contractors opined: -Our ductwork is in good condition. -The thermostat, furnace, and compressor Blue Best installed were not properly matched. -Basic industry-standard load calculations (e.g., Manual J) were apparently not done, which would have shown the system was undersized for our home's layout, windows, and sun exposure. Blue Best has declined to remove the system or refund our payment, instead relying on fine print in the contract. We are now pursuing legal options. We have since spent ~$12,000 on a mini-split system from another contractor, which works as intended. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Blue Best and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Not only was he reasonably priced, but he added components (water pressure regulator and a pressure bladder on the water heater) to ensure that the replacement would last a long time. He explained to me how to relieve the water heater bladder pressure once or twice a year and what to do if I had any issues with the pressure regulator. He is TOP NOTCH ethical, kind, professional and affordable. One of a kind. He was over $1,000 less (and in some cases over $2,000 less) than his competitors.
