Nothing serious enough to report to the board and it is a lab and a faster one in the area, but they are definitely not interested in attracting new or retaining existing customers. Nurse's preferred name is Beau and it is extremely important for him that you spell it correctly. Mister Thomas had a very bad morning yesterday 01.12.2021 so he felt like making it unpleasant to everyone he had the joy of dealing with. He refused to  check me in referring me to some lousy self-check out option and I did not want to scan my legal ID at unknown source. Also I came early in the morning drove 26 miles with a full bladder and part of his job description is to verify info is entered correctly and properly I do not want to be blamed for misrepresentation because I skipped a letter or a number. Still much faster than Community Care and we are talking like 7-9 times faster so I'd prefer ill-mannered fellow who actually knows what he is doing to a much friendlier girl who does not and I am referring to their receptionist and not a nurse. That is probably why Beau prefers wearing many hats and not to even hire one or it may represent LabCorp's policy. Interestingly enough at Community Care you are allowed to wash your hands before initialing the labels on your specimen and at LabCorp you are not so that pen of his is truly disgusting, indeed. Another potato/potatoe like difference you can just leave your crap on the table at Community Care and at LabCorp a lockbox was offered so I bet you he was accused of stealing personal property before. Asks you to pick a kit not sure if they bet money on it. Each one looks exactly the same unless there are rare manufacturing defects. Perhaps by giving me an illusion of having a choice is believed to alleviate the consequences of his rude and arrogant behavior on my mood for the rest of the morning. I'll let you decide. Beau does not consider necessary to verify if my info is correct or if my address or phone number is still current, but the collection process is certainly faster than with competitors or should I say contenders within reasonable driving range and it is all that matters. I came in for a routine pre-employment screening which I was told happens each time we switch projects, but I know few people with health issues that are very serious  who prefer commuting to Bingham Memorial or EIRMC. Tis what it is.

Family went to the pulmonologists at Portneuf and it might have been a great experience (doctors…read moreand schedulers were super) except apparently certain members of the imaging staff don't to appreciate the need for a caregiver to accompany their dependents--especially on their first visit--as much as possible. Technician seemed unable to sympathize or appreciate the types of things that can happen when dependents are unaccompanied. The doctors and nurses all understood and even approved of the accompanyment but this seemed to make little difference to the technician. We're all trying to assume she was just having a bad day but it was pretty intense for no reason. Hoping this seemingly unalterable process can be reviewed and modified.

It's sad, when you have a disease, such as Covid and the main staff at Portneuf decide that you do…read morehave Covid. Do nothing more than put you in bed for a few days. Letting you go home thinking it's all better. Then you find out two and a half years later, that the Covid is still there and destroying your life with numerous health issues. Still is. A couple of years ago, I had a prostate surgery and yes, I was at a better hospital. I see Ace W. speaks similar thoughts. I came into Portneuf ER, I had a clogged catheter. Because people came in saying they had the worst pain, I was made to sit in a wheelchair, pissing on myself, until someone finally helped me early in the morning. I was hurting so bad, I ended coming right back to the ER, after my release and am now paying for two ER visits. Current issues: my wife had a hip replacement through her works' medical insurance at Portneuf. There should be a cap on our end regarding our payments; what we owe. This has happened before, I'm sure there are others. Around late September's statement, my wife's bill, payment in October. There's something different about our billing. As usual, Portneuf keeps adding monies to this bill in drips and drabs, during 2025. But Octobers bill through the end of the year we can't access my wife's patient portal to pay the bill. Being disabled it's hard for me to go down each month and make this payment. It seems they saved the best for last. Beginning in January 2026, we start getting notified of a new charge of $1,000 due. Nothing before this is mentioned, on previous bills, except the little bills before October. Angie Statz says Portneuf tried a couple of times to get this money through my wife's insurance, but the insurance company never responded; so, they what to the end of the year and say we now owe another $1000. Larger amount because of it? So, I'm physically going back and forth to Portneuf. Often needing a wheelchair to get where I need to, once inside. I end up with Amanda Pisani, Financial Navigator, whom I've dealt with twice before in 2025. This time she goes into hiding and won't return my calls. Or talk to me when I come in. So, I go to her boss, Angie Statz Executive Assistant, whom I spoke to before and she claims this is not her job to deal with this and sends me back to Amanda Pisani. I tried and tried to get some help with the billing with Amanda, but now there's no response from her, no matter how hard/which way I try. What we have paid and what our share of the bill is, but she refused to help. Those that know the Portneuf website, there's a place where on the main page it says Patients and Visitors. Then you go to patients and Family Advisory. Then patient concerns. There used to be pictures you click on to leave a complaint. Before I had a chance to do this, you now get to send an email to Raydel Gardner and Angie Statz. Seems I feel I get no help to file my complaint on Portneuf's website. My third month, still being ran around in circles still. But was beat to filing a legitimate complaint by their loyal staff, probably someone actually claiming to want to help me. And my true story and experiences aren't told to be able to warn/help others. The best part is. Even though I am paying my wife's bills. Not only are these people mentioned, not willing to help me, But I am now getting threats of collections and ruining my credit. Timothy T Burleson, Navy Veteran, mid-sixties, disabled.
