This…read moreused to be a store where you could go in and get your gate looked at and your foot print analyzed to get the right shoe. We stopped in recently just for this purpose. We were met with hostility and unprofessional staff. We had our gates looked at for about two seconds and that was it. The process is no longer personal and staff acts as if they do not care to help. Staff is dressed in leggings which is absolutely not appropriate for the workplace. We will never be back.

That cover is still going strong over 8 years later. When we bought a new pontoon boat, it came with a cover that shed its color when both installing and removing. It was wonderful if you wanted to look like a Smurf. Gordy created a custom cover that not only fits, but doesn't turn my wife into Smurfette. When our puppy chewed off a button from an outdoor furniture cushion, it was Mid-State to the rescue, Gordy is even willing to take on a project of researching and creating a convertible top for my little roadster. Electric is available at most sites but I believe water is available at common locations. A dump station is available on site. The employees keep the park well groomed within their the ability and the equipment available to them. The shower areas were immaculate and clean. The down side(s) are the roads. Most are in need of considerable repair. For anyone familiar with the area, they know that water quality in the area is iffy at best. Green algae at this time of the year is excessive. I've lived near both lakes for almost 20 years and have seen NO improvement in quality in spite of what local groups may say. It is a huge issue. Give the park a chance, lots of good things to see and do. ADDED....Just checked put showers closer. Quarters are needed to operate. 25 cents for 5 minutes. More than one quarter can be added to increase time.

We had Kim meet us in Hancock, WI where we were staying on Fish Lake. We had a group of 5 including…read moremy 8 year old daughter. This was the first time for all of us. When we first got on the boards my daughter got scared because she drifted away from us and couldn't control the board very well. When Kim saw my daughter was having trouble she went over to her and stayed with her until she was comfortable. She taught her how to steer and control her board. After about 20 mins my daughter was paddle boarding like a pro! She loved it as did the rest of us! I highly recommend SUP the Rapids! It's a great time and not as hard as you think!

We got rained on for two holes then enjoyed a very nice course. We golfed the Lakes course. The forward tees were 5300 yards. That is long! The course was in good shape, despite all the rain. No restrictions on where golf carts could drive. The carts did not have GPS so we were looking for yardage markers most of the round. We played the round right around 4 hours. With many cancellations due to rain, we never saw another group on the course. Staff was friendly. Great experience.
