Found this place on the trusy Yelp app and it definitely did not disappoint! This playground area is FIRST RATE. Huge, good for young and older kids and the whole place is fenced in so you don't have to keep TOO close an eagle-eye on your kids especially if they are a little bigger. Plenty of places for parents to sit both in the sun and in the shade which is nice and there are also decently lit and pretty clean (for a park) bathrooms right next to the playground. The sand pit was pretty big and nice although one of the shovels was broken. I also liked how it was a bit distant from the rest of the playground so that sand doesn't get tracked all over. Overall a very nice community playground we'd definitely stop again on the way through town.

We are 6 adults, and four little girls ages 5-7 We range from beginner to experienced with kayaking. Just before we went out, the weather changed so we came back in after half an hour. We ate in the restaurant while it poured, and then went back out for another 90 minutes. We got out on sand bars to visit and play. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. A staff member provides a comprehensive review of the boat and it's features, and then you are free to cruise the blue-green waters of the Chain O' Lakes all day. The pontoon (20' Hydrotherapy) was clean and comfortable, the canopy kept us shaded when the sun was hot, you have swim stairs in case you want to stop at a sandbar and cool off, and there were no issues at all with the motor. Plus they give you a map showing the lakes in the chain, detailing which ones are no-wake so the day was relaxing and trouble-free from start to finish.

He said that he would text me the day prior with a pin for the landing. We traveled all the way from Florida to Stevens Point, I texted him on Sunday that we had arrived in town, had our license and were would be ready for him after 7am Tuesday. He responded back and sent the pin for the location in Mosinee. Guess what, Phil was not there when we got to the landing at 7:34am. We got out, I looked around and saw a truck with empty trailer and thought that he must be here and he just ran the boat up river to look around or something. I texted him at 7:38 am that we were here. We got our stuff out and poked around a bit then I told myself that I would wait till 8 to call and check. At 7:58am I called him . Well.... he left us...and was rude about it too. He even said that he waited 45 min but that is impossible if I am sitting there at 7:34. But regardless, this was all communicated. I could not drop my son off until 7am in Stevens Point, then drive about 30 min to Mosinee. That is what we did but he left his charter at the ramp.
