I am in love with this store and the people there are incredible, their prices are up scale, which is reasonable because the owner is a traveler. He goes, mainly to India, to bring back refurbished items. He also collects from local artists. It is worth going in just to field trip or pick up a center piece for your home. Don't be deceived, it is a very large complex with many items to take in. Smaller items range from $20-200 and furniture easily ranges from $142-15,000. The customer service at Rare Finds is terrible. Buying furniture, fixtures etc can be a difficult process and sometimes you buy something thinking it will be great for the space but I doesn't work out. If that happens, you'd better hope you didn't buy it at rare finds. Their return policy is 7 days! I think that's ridiculous. Additionally, if you come back after that time frame, their attitude is pretty much, "tough shit". My items were in perfect condition, never used and quite expensive. I fully admit that I didn't have my receipt, and was outside of the 7 day policy. I wouldn't expect a refund, but at the very least they could've offered store credit. I would've been happy getting even 75% value back for them. I will never shop here again. read more

We recently purchased a table, two benches and two chairs form Rare Finds. It was our first time here and we were blown away by the gorgeous pieces and unique selection. It was awesome to come into a furniture store that didn't look like all the rest. Our salesperson was very knowledgeable and the 24 hour hold policy allowed us to measure the area before actual purchase. In addition, customer service was 5 star. There are pieces that accommodate all styles (which is unusual for an antique-type store, as they're usually vintage/antique vibes only). There's modern, mid-mod, Scandinavian, industrial, vintage, and everything in between. LOTS to choose from and prices are mostly reasonable (especially when there's a sale going on). Wow. There is lots to look at here. If Distressed, industrial, vintagey furniture is your vibe, this is your place. I have been seeing their posts on Facebook recently and decided it was time to come for a visit... It's at Monaco and the HWY (just underneath the 70 overpass)... set a GPS. I was lost trying to get here on sheer will, it's in an industrial area, so if you blink - you might miss it. Lots of tin/ patina'd finishes. I wish I had area for a bar, because there is a beautiful refinished bar that I would totally rock in the house. But alas, I don't have a big home, so I can only dream about owning such a piece. It is a beauty though :) I wish they had more pics/photographs/tchotchkes to peruse... there is a ton of awesome furniture but I am all furniture'd out. What a gem this place is! I had been trying to find a dining table for weeks, and visited all the large furniture stores in the area. Only to be disappointed with overpriced fake wood tables. I decided to go on yelp and after reading the reviews pay the store a visit. You can tell every piece in this store is high quality, made from real wood and metal. This place has always sparked my interest so I finally made the jump to stop on in. I have to say, it's quite overwhelming at first because there are so many items, however once you get over the initial excitement, you notice it's all neatly displayed, but smells like the thrift store. There are many rare items (old sleigh), duplicate items, and newer items. I noticed a slight ski/mountain theme floating around, however nothing really filled that initial excitement I felt when I was going to walk through the door. RFW made a new table for us very quickly and the owner delivered it to our house himself (about an hour away from the warehouse). The employees are always friendly and helpful. Rare Finds has an exceptional selection of just that for the home! I quickly found the perfect mango wood sideboard piece that we'll use for a media stand. Prices are very reasonable. The sales team was very knowledgeable about the origin and wood types, and super helpful with selection and loading into our truck. This place is a dream! I stumbled on it on accident and must have spent hours in there. Each time I walked through the store I noticed something else that I fell in love with. Both owners helped us at times each telling us the story of how this or that piece was brought back from India and transformed. We were not pressured at all and eventually decided on a dining table with an industrial look. This is the kind of place that if you need a something custom made, I'm sure it would be no problem. Be careful don't fall in love with anything you're not ready to buy as it will surly break your heart because the next person will buy it! No matter what your style they have something that fits. I love that they get things from all over the world and all time periods and each item is hand picked not mass made and it doesn't seem over bought just to fill space. We purchased a large hardwood table from Rare Finds. We got the table home but realized it was too tall for our living space. We called the company and Cole, the rep who helped us through the entire process, said they would come to get it, take it back, and lower it for us...free of charge. They brought the table back to our residence, carried it to our living space, and assembled it for us...again, free of charge. They are patient in listening to the needs of the customer and offering advice that is suitable. No hard sell here! Not sure about the Pier One comment from one reviewer. Not even close! New and different items are on display every time I have been there. Really fun to explore all they have to offer. What a find! We went in looking for inspiration for an upcoming basement remodel and found many pieces that may work. Also, we learned that they can custom make a pub height community table for us from a variety of different wood tops - lots of different woods, finishes, looks, etc. If you're looking for unique furnishings and decor, you have to stop by Rare Finds. Have bought many items from here, including wall art, frames, bar stools, media stand, coffee table, kitchen table/bench and mirror. All items are great quality and look amazing in my house.
