We are residents of CA and recently purchased a beautiful live edge acacia wood dining room table here. We were visiting family who live nearby. We've been to Rare Finds a few times and love their inventory! We hesitated buying the table even though we loved it because we'd have to have it shipped to CA. But this business really has their act together. For one thing, the table and base were on sale for an excellent price. Check here often. They have sales. The staff at Rare Finds were helpful and professional throughout the process. They got the estimate to have it shipped from the company they regularly contract with so we didn't have to research that. Once we had the shipping estimate, we chose to proceed with the sale. The communication throughout this process was amazing. I can say that the whole procedure was flawless. And it all started with Rare Finds and their professionalism. We received communication from the shipping company as it was packaged and prepped for delivery. We could easily check on updates as the table made it's way West. It arrived very well-packed on the day they said it would and it was in excellent condition. We can't wait to return to see what other deals they have since our last visit. Ok so this place has some cool stuff but it's very cheap quality. It's what you will find at TJ MAXX in the home goods department. As far as having a selection, you will not find anywhere else. WHat a cool store! Most of the furniture is made from repurposed/recycled building materials- very unique and one of a kind. The employees were helpful without being pushy and just gave us time to look around and take it all in. Being handmade furniture, it's priced a little higher than a mass produced furniture store, but we still felt prices were reasonable, especially for the quality. We bought this cool chimney cabinet made from an old shutter and will definitely be back if we're in need for a unique furniture piece. read more

I had the most wonderful experience with Jenna at the Highlands Ranch location! She went above and beyond with a picture I had seen in the background of a Facebook post... took and sent countless photos so that I could see the condition of the glass and the details of the print! Jenna also went above and beyond to have the picture securely shipped to me at a reasonable price (even going as far as to ship it herself for a better rate!). I cannot give my experience better praise; she's made my husband and I long-term customers! read more

Disappointed. During Covid I bought a comfortable leather chair in red, my favorite color to go perfectly in our new basement. Well sadly the 1st contractor needed to be fired and the second stretched a 1month project into 4. Needless to say the whole thing strung out much longer than expected. Well the basement was completed and the chair took its place in the long over due renovation. The new basement has had minimal use. I noticed the seam in my new chair was splitting took photos and notified the sales person I had been working with as I purchased numerous Rare Finds pieces for my renovation. Without hesitation she stated I could return the piece. I informed her that my husband had recently totaled our only truck and that I would bring the chair back as soon as I could. She agreed. Well as promised we purchased a new truck and took the piece back in. She conveniently failed to remember our conversation. I was told to leave the chair, it would either be repaired or I would be given the refund she had verbally approved. I expected a call the same day. A week later I had to call the store, only to find they were refusing to repair or refund. I have made at least a dozen referrals to their store and spent thousands of dollars in furniture so this outcome is extremely disappointing. I know many months have passed but I kept RF apprised of my situation every step of the way and the damage to the chair is very apparently not from use. Sign me a loyal client list! read more

Just to set expectations accordingly here: Rare Finds is not a strict vintage/antique store. They have a ton of manufactured-for-them furniture and home goods, much like World Market or Pier 1 back in the day. Given their name and the way they present their stuff (it feels like a vintage store inside!), just know that a lot of their goods are straight from a factory too. read more

Stopped by to do some browsing as I prepare to close on a new house. The staff here are great! They greet you when you first walk through, checkin on you as you wonder around, and are available for any questions. I really like this store because it aligns with my more industrial furnishing style (hard wood mixed with darker metals) and the prices seem fair. I compared prices I saw today to what I've seen on websites like Overstock and Wayfair and it definitely feels like you get better quality without necessarily giving up on affordability. I haven't bought anything yet, but I'm pretty sure i will once i get into the new digs and see what i want or need! read more

I have been looking for two years for the perfect piece for my entryway. I saw this piece on the website and called to buy it over the phone. I live out of town but knew I wouldn't find a piece like it anywhere else, so I made three payments (great layaway plan!) and every single staff member has been more professional than AFW and Furniture Row put together. I bought furniture from all three places when I moved to Montrose, and only Rare Finds provided outstanding service back then. Rare Finds was kind enough to keep this new piece for me until I could get it to Montrose. When my plan to pick it up wouldn't work, they looked into freight delivery, which I'm not familiar with....then Coronavirus hit. These beyond nice people are going to deliver the piece from Denver to Montrose, CO for a small fee. They didn't have to do that....they did it because it is an exceptional store.
