The I fillet was very tender and juicy. The porterhouse was perfectly cooked with the right amount of fat around the edges. The scotch fillet was cooked to perfection. The Rib eye almost was too much to eat but somehow I muscled through and one of these I have had. Don't forget the chips with the creamy garlic sauce. The chocolate cake was epic and could be shared. The cheese cake was top shelf.

I'm never one that gives very bad reviews but this was a bad good experience. The only reason this restaurant gets two stars is for the service but other than that the food wasn't good. Started with prawns that was cooked in a process sauce that tasted very bland and had no flavor (I know that's the definition of bland but I had too repeat it). The BBQ ribs were tender but either they were overcooked or the grill Hadn't been cleaned because the charred taste was overwhelming and took away from how tender they were. Now the Scottish steak. Had the same charred flavor and I honestly wanted to ask for steak sauce because of how burnt it tasted. Don't know if this was an off night but as a steak eater I am shocked at the high ratings yelp and trip advisor gives this steak house. I will remember this restaurant for all the wrong reasons

    Best rib steak in town!

This was not our original intended destination but I am so glad we ended up here! Dark yet trendy decor, comfy seating, open yet still intimate dining. Service was friendly from the hostess though to our great servers. The menu has a diverse selection to please any picky eater including salads. They have a great fixed price menu for lunch and dinner but read the fine print as it's only available at certain times. We ordered rib steak which comes with your choice of potato and you can order extra sides for an additional cost if you like. Steak was perfectly cooked to order. The baked potato and crisps were both delicious. The crisps were The best I've ever had in a steakhouse, really. They have a great selection of desserts and cheese plates if you have room afterwards. Definitely worth a repeat trip....

I loved all the food I had here, but 4 stars instead of 5 because I can't say I'm a steak expert. My medium-rare fillet was perfectly tender and juicy, my friend's kangaroo was exotic but flavorful, and the sweet potato fries were as good as they get. Even the flour-less chocolate cake looked like steak. No complaints at all!

The service was attentive and the atmosphere was warm and very inviting. The food was good as well. The burger was phenomenal while the steak was just ok. It was the Aged Rib Eye. Looking around after we realized everyone knew to add salt to their steak. They give you a complementary birthday dessert as well. Really have to appreciate places that know how to make the customer feel valued!!! I would go back for sure to get the burger and give the steak another shot.

We took it because we had just flown in that morning and couldn't/didn't want to stay out late. Interesting thing is the restaurant was half full the entire time so we didn't understand why there wasn't availability any later. Enough of that, on to the food. Appetizer sampler was ok. Nothing stood out. Calamari, mini sausages, pork belly, bruschetta, salad. Wouldn't order again. Regular and garlic breads for another appetizer. Ok but nothing to make me order again. Lots of meat options and I chose the filet out of preference and suggestion by the waiter. Cooked well but the cut of meat was just ok. Good sized portion and in this case, as it should never be with a good cut of meet, the peppercorn sauce came in handy. Side salad instead of "chips" (fries) which wasn't anything special. Service was slow and we didn't have one consistent waiter.

The first time I ventured in was to indulge in what is likely the happiest of Happy Hours - $2 oysters and $12 glasses of Mumm champagne - that is ACTUAL champagne, people. I refer to this kind of treat as Choysters and I guarantee you, you'll feel like a French royal by the time you finish that second glass. My next trip was for dinner. I was so excited to try their famous Steak Frites - Grilled Hopkins River Porterhouse, with salad and BOTTOMLESS FRIES. Can you feel my excitement as you read?! The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and the salad gave much needed greenery to the dish. This is such a fun destination if you've had a GREAT day at work and want to celebrate or are celebrating an anniversary of birthday but don't want anything too over the top.

Entrecôte is what I imagine heaven is like. It's fun, decadent, doesn't take itself too seriously, and has enough options to keep each day a little different, but not so many that you need to waste precious time making decisions. This isn't complex food, it's not food that requires discussions on how it was made or where the ingredients are from. Nope, it's delicious classic food that lets you get on with what's most important - enjoying the company of your friends. You'll eat and drink way more than you intended, but by golly will you have a fun night.
