Being antiquarian print collectors and art lovers, we spent much time browsing and chatting with Lucille. What a history there with her parents and Salvadore Dali, another artist that we collect! We could have spent hours chatting with Lucille. We purchased an Audubon edition print and of course, who could resist a gorgeous Salvadore Dali print to add to our collection. If you are ever in Gunnison, go out of your way to visit the gallery! With over 200,000 pieces to choose from, if you don't find something, I would be shocked!! Gunnison is very lucky to have this vault of world history in their little town! :)

The Wild Spirit Gallery was an interesting option and I spend a good amount of time wandering around their spacious, handsome, and diverse offerings. That includes original paintings and etchings, bronze sculpture, jewelery, woods, and various other stuff. Store staff pretty much left me along, although I knew I could quickly count on help if I needed it. Only a few items resonated with me, and the ones that did wouldn't fit in my suitcase. But if I pass this way again, I'll make sure to stop by.

I was drawn into his gallery, by his friendly demeanor and the fascination of watching him paint as we talked and I browsed. His nature is definitely kind, and it was worth the visit just to speak with him. I spent over an hour trying to choose my favorite painting to purchase, so I ended I up buying two.
