I called and spoke to Elizabeth on 10/18 and after providing the details of my request she said she would talk to the attorney to see if it is a case they can take. After waiting over a week I called and left a voicemail for her on 10/26 and still have not heard back. I was recently sued. The case dragged on for months. At the suggestion of a friend I consulted with Jeff regarding an approach to the plaintiff's allegations against me . Mr. Rasansky listened dispassionately to my story and approached my defence as if he were the prosecuting attorney. He even agreed to meet with me group at a private location on a Sunday morning, when I was pressured for time. Not only were his suggestions helpful, but he also consulted with another attorney, reviewed the legal paperwork and made sure that we had all contingencies covered. His thorough knowledge and keen sense of the law and how it pertained to me allowed me to sleep happily at night. Complete 14 month waste of time! Rasansky Law firm agreed to take my case on 1/23/2020 and today I receive a letter stating they have declined my case. No communications at all over this entire period until now. I called at the 6 month mark on July 23, 2020 and was told they were waiting on the report. I called again on the 12 month mark in January 2021 and was told they had no information. All I received was their silly newsletter offers via e-mail. They required over 1 year just to pull medical records for review. My 49 year old wife was hospitalized for 6 weeks in ICU unable to move and had stage 4 bed sores from not being moved. On the 5th week she contracted flesh eating bacteria on her leg which the hospital was responsible for that required several surgeries and a daily dressing change that has NOT healed to this day and requires a dressing change every single day. She is currently in the hospital fighting an infection in this leg but Rasansky law firm had no interest in knowing this. She can no longer walk and has spent only 3 months home since July 2020 and that needed a home health care nurse visit every other day to change the dressing on her leg. Additionally, a rehab nursing home was transferring her from the wheelchair to the bed and put a gash on her other leg that required 12 staples and a daily dressing change for 11 months straight. The bed rail had a faulty metal shard sticking out that the hospital knew about with documented injuries from other people in the past. Moreover, an injury report was filed with the State of Texas auditor of which this law firm had no interest in pursuing. They had no interest in wanting to know that my wife was still hospitalized during their "investigations". I just wonder how Mr Rasansky would react if one of his loved ones went through all of this never being able to walk again with loss of limb because of hospital negligence and spending 18 of the past 21 months in the hospital or nursing home. I guess they have bigger fish to fry from covid-19 cases. Do yourself a favor and pass on this law firm or you'll regret it like me. read more
