He told my grandmother there was nothing there and proceeded to talk to my father (who was helping my grandmother) in a condescending and snarky way. My father stood up for himself and told the man to not speak over him or to him in that manner. The man continued to shout over my father telling him that my grandmother was the customer, not him. My father then told him that he was helping my grandmother (because she was recently widowed). The man, who was apparently the owner of this business, then said this WORD FOR WORD: "WHY DO YOU KEEP BRINGING UP THE DEAD GUY?" Not only was this comment disrespectful to my family, it disrespected and dehumanized my grandfather.
