When the weather is good it's fine, but in the cold winter months you'll be thankful for all the buildings you can duck into to warm up between classes. The bookstore is an awesome place to get all you Bison swag, there are dressing rooms and the staff are super friendly. Visitor parking is limited so you may have to wait a few minutes for a spot to open up.

The Director of the Department in BISMARCK PERSONALLY wrote my plan. When the time came to apply, LM HOLTER In Fargo stated that she did not want to ADMIT persons with disabilities into their programs as she did not want disabled people in their program NOR did she want them to work in the ND School System. I WAS DENIED BASED ON MY DISABILITY, VS BEING ADMITTED BASED ON ACADEMIC MERIT AND STANDARDIZED TEST SCORES AS IS ETHICAL AND LEGAL. LM HOLTER Criticized my "articulation" and personally stated that NO, she did NOT WANT A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY IN HER PROGAM; she also stated that she disagreed with the school having a Disability Student Access Center. I filed a complaint with the EEO at the DEPT of ED, when the report came back, it was even worse; she stated that she, despite all of the very invasive questions that she asked, thought that I over shared. This woman and her department broke Federal Law and they take FAFSA. I called Betsy, the Director of the DSAC (at the time) who later called me back and said the LM HOLTER ADMITTED to her transgression against me and against federal law. I have posted this same review, once with a bit more anger, and YELP is reporting to me that UMARY is complaining to them about the review and that I could face legal action. TO YOU LM HOLTER I SAY COME FOR ME BITCH! I would love for you to say none of this happened in a court of LAW, I would love for you and your director in BISMARCK to say NONE OF THIS EVER HAPPENED. I have save ALL OF THE EMAILS, LETTERS, ALL OF IT since I started Communicating with the school in McKenizie County at an open house in the Fall of 2016. SO come for me! COME FOR ME! Professors are typically willing to adapt and work with you as long as you communicate effectively. Never had a bad professor in 4 years. The school provides all the tools you need to succeed, including access to databases for research, staff at the "Center for Student Success" to assist you with writing papers, giving speeches, writing resumes, connecting you with internships or other opportunities, and more. It's up to you to decide how you want to use those resources! 3. Core curriculum: The school requires a few classes outside of your major, which expands your perspective about the world. It can be beneficial to learn about things that you were unfamiliar with, and you will probably find connections from those classes to your own field of study. 4. Tuition/Cost: Yes, it appears to be rather expensive. However, there are lots of scholarship opportunities that can really make it affordable for most. Reach out to the school/do some searching to see what that might look like. 5. Extracurriculars: I had a great experience as an athlete at Concordia. After a year I changed my major and transferred to a huge university which was a huge mistake. After a couple of years I started again at MSCTC Moorhead and got the same great help as before. I ended up changing my major a couple more times. Each time the advisors were helpful. I ended up graduating with an AA in Liberal Arts with a 3.93 GPA. The only negative thing I have to say about MSCTC is that I was told that I had all my graduation requirements met, and then I was told that I couldn't graduate. When I finished my courses the next semester that were required (at a fellow university), I got another letter saying I wasn't eligible to graduate. The first problem was that my transcript from the huge university classes that I didn't finish were put in at MSCTC as "in progress", which they weren't. The second problem was that even though I had followed the advice given to me when I asked, the powers that decide had not updated my transcript to include the fellow university classes that I needed to graduate. Eventually that was corrected and I did get my diploma. During the process of these letters, everyone I communicated with to fix the situation were super kind and helpful.

I'm not sure why my mind thought of Fargo as a rural, forest-like place but I actually loved being here. It's spacious, clean and has lots of room for residential and commercial growth. Applying to the program was easy and seamless and an acceptance decision was reached in record time. The University staff are very welcoming and friendly and the program has three high fidelity mannequin rooms unlike most schools with one or two. While the nursing school space is small and intimate, the staff are very professional and friendly. They offer a 20 month MSN program for students with a bachelor's degree in any field except nursing. This is a great way to produce high quality students and nurse leaders entering the field.
