Stopped here enroute from Zurich to Brussels for coffee and cake. It looks like a fairly small rest-stop compared to some of the others I have seen on the autobahn, but actually expands massively in the back, with plenty of seating and play space for kids.
The coffee was excellent - highly recommend the Latte Macchiato and for a sweet treat, the mandarin and lemon curd cake was refreshing! Also the roasted potatoes really hit the spot. I saw lots of people taking spaetzle but can't comment as all we got was coffee, cake, croissant and plus a drink and the potatoes which cost us around 16 euros (ouch!).
Oh also, the loos were very clean and you got 50 cents to spend in store. read more
