They supported us the 1 + year we were in contract for a home in Brooklyn, where the seller needed to clear a permit issue before we could close. Jim was patient, professional and responsive. We would ask Jim to check in on the process every so often and he would come back to us with a status update within a few days (after he connected with the seller's attorney). We had to deal with difficult stakeholders in the process and Jim helped navigate some of those with us. Jim is reasonably priced thorough and fair. he has my ringing endorsement. while my nerves were ping ponging all over the plce as a first time buyer in an endless loop of underwriting requirements during that delicate chapter of post-mortgage crisis atonement when new requirements made getting a mortgage virtually impossible (2009) and this for a limited equity coop with all sorts of shenanigans missing documents, cagey board etc, through all of this four month process jim was cool as a cucumber and his office manager too was a guru, keeping me from the brink of despair when i needed help which i did often. when the sadistic underwriting process finally reached its end and closing time finally could be scheduled it was holiday time. some lawyers would just say "try me next week". but he knew what it meant to me tax-wise to close by year end and we pulled it off. you too can become home owners in nyc! get Jim on your team! read more
