Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. I was charged approximately $300 for what amounted to a very brief appointment -- roughly ten minutes -- with a nurse practitioner. After that appointment, communication became extremely inconsistent. I repeatedly attempted to reach out and rarely received responses. At one point, my account was deactivated without clear explanation, yet I continued receiving automated messages encouraging me to make appointments. Most concerning, my card was recently charged approximately $240 when my account was apparently reactivated, despite the fact that I never intended to re-enroll or authorize that charge. I had to request a refund for a payment I did not knowingly agree to. As a mature woman simply seeking straightforward medical support and continuity of care, this experience has felt impersonal, confusing, and financially exploitative. Rather than feeling cared for by a healthcare provider, I felt processed through an automated system focused more on billing and subscriptions than actual patient support. I understand that telehealth platforms operate differently from traditional practices, but basic communication, transparency, and informed billing authorization should still be standard. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling frustrated and unsupported.

At 8 weeks…read moreODA told me I was carrying twins and I may have a high risk pregnancy and gave me no other information but a phone number to another clinic. They refused to see me again even though I was high risk and could not get into the other office for over 3 weeks. I continued to call them and they kept just telling me to call the other office. Once I finally got the appointment o the other office, I found out I had a missed miscarriage. ODA refused to tell me what type of twins it was, even though when I looked on my mychart-- they knew they day of their first scan. My doctor Yulia Mogiliansky did not properly inform me of how HIGH RISK I was. In fact she downplayed the risks quite a bit. They had the exact type of tiwns on my chart and through my own research after this happened, I found out I had a 10% chance of miscarrying which Dr. Mogilanksy did not inform of at all. Instead they pawned me off on another clinic. On the day I found out about the missed miscarriage they informed me I had a hematoma that ODA had never mentioned. My only visits with OBGYN were less than 5 minutes. Once I miscarried that clinic had me come back to ODA. ON the worst day of MY LIFE after I miscarried TWINS, ODA did not even have the common courtesy to review my records before I came in , even though I spoke with them on the phone 2x before coming in. I had to explain the miscarriage to 2 different nurses and the doctor since they could not even be bothered to review my chart. MY OBGYN (Dr. Yulia Mogilianksy) that I saw previously did not even bother to come in even though I could see she was sitting at her desk. The doctor that I did see Scott Postell was extremly insensistive and rude. he did not do a follow up scan (the next place i went said that was standard to do), they could not provide me with D and C, and they spent less than 2 minutes with me. They treated me like I was an idiot for even coming in. Dr. Scott Postell told me I could not take the abortion pill bc it was too late, even though he did not examine me at all or even review my chart or look at the scans from earlier that day. Once I got a scan at another clinic they told me I could be prescribed that medication bc they were able to see the size was small enough bc the other clinic actually did their due diligence to do a scan. BC of this I was made to suffer with knowledge of my miscarriage for DAYS longer than I needed to . Dr. Scott Postel basically asked me why I even bothered to come in on the day I miscarried twins. They also did not help me set up another appointment with a doctor that could do a D and C. He simply handed me a phone number to clinic that had just referred me back to them. ODA knew that I needed a D and C and that they would not prescribe me the pill, but STILL made me come into the office. I was also told on the day of my missed miscarriage that I had a hematoma, that ODA never informed me of. The doctors acted confused as to why I came in that day even though they booked the appointment. They did not even want to help me book the D and C with another office but just handed me a phone number 2 hours after I miscarried. I will never go back to this office. They made the worst day of my life even worse. Do not go here they do not care and if they can't even provide a standard service like a D and C then they are a useless office.

During labor, which was surprising and fast, Jo stayed calm and grounded as she unwrapped the cord around the baby's neck and gave her immediate care she needed to take her first breaths. It might have been a terrifying situation for others, but Jo handled it with unreal expertise. We are forever grateful for Jo and Jenna's thoughtful and enthusiastic care and support. Every visit, phone call, text, etc was always particular and intimate to our own story while being backed by informed, professional advice and conversation. From billing support to postpartum visits in their new gorgeous office, Nettle made this process easy in a medical landscape that can often be so opaque and overwhelming. As a sporadic doula, I'm lucky enough to have been present at several births and they offer a level of care that I didn't know existed. We were fortunate to have an incredible home birth in our barely one bedroom apartment and throughout felt supported but empowered, nurtured but independent. From the first meeting we knew it was the only way, and they were there for us every step. Both pre and post natal care (not to mention labor and birth support) were approached with attentiveness, warmth, and joyful tenderness. I've carried their philosophy with me into parenthood and find myself asking WW(Jo/Jenna)D for decisions beyond the health of our baby girl and myself. Their sage advice and general outlook on all things birthing and beyond offer a lovely bedrock for this new phase. Briefly, we cannot recommend them highly enough. We love you Jo and Jenna and the whole Nettle crew!

Didn't get the memo that doctors should have some bedside manner. He's way too cold and direct,…read moredidn't make me feel comfortable. Some of my experience: 1. Invited in the receptionist as I was having my exam, without mentioning or asking and she just stood there with her clipboard. Very uncomfortable. 2. Did not even perform a breast exam during my annual. I found this very strange as I've always had a quick breast exam each year. I feel that's one of the main reasons you even go to your annual appointment! 3. During the exam he kind of led me into saying I felt discomfort so he could run extra tests. While literally inside of me he asked "you feel discomfort, yes?" And I said uh yea I guess (because it was awkward so I was uncomfortable and of course there's a slight pressure). This made him tell me that something is probably wrong and I should come back for an ultrasound. This feels similar to other reviews I've seen 3. Told me they accepted my insurance (after I inquired several times and had them check my insurance card) and are in network but turns out their contract was terminated so now I need to pay out of pocket or hopefully get a claim accepted. 4. While there waiting, it was extremely crowded with no one wearing masks. I asked if I could wait outside and be called in because I was uncomfortable, the receptionist looked right at me with an aggravated stare and then completely ignored me and turned to talk to the woman next to me. 5. I actually went twice because first the wait time was 1 hr by the time I left (and I had an appointment).

WARNING TO EVERY WOMAN OUT THERE: DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR…read more I can't say anything bad about him when it comes to his demeanor because he's actually rather nice & pleasant, however, he has no idea what he's doing! Just as one of the other reviews wrote, Dr. Niznikiewicz will diagnose you with conditions you don't have! This is my experience: I just went in for a check-up. During the exam he said that he suspects that I have an ovarian cyst (mind you, I had absolutely no symptoms - totally healthy!). So, at this point I'm already pretty scared...THEN during my breast exam, he said he feels a lump in one of my breasts! At this point I almost started to cry - and I began feeling the breast myself to see if I could feel anything - but I didn't! So, I left the office with documents to get a BUNCH of tests done - one being a mammogram! Guess what? I'm under 40, I shouldn't even be getting a mammogram (which I found out from the radiologist who questioned me as to why I'm getting a mammogram at my age without a family history of breast cancer!). To conclude: THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH ME. No ovarian cyst. No breast lump. NOTHING. He will scare you into thinking you have something wrong and then send you to get an array of tests just so he gets more MONEY. I hate leaving a review like this, but I don't think anyone should have to go through such stress because of an incompetent doctor. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

I went in for a pelvic pain/endometriosis visit and during the appointment was told I was overdue for my annual exam, so preventive services were completed at the same time. What was never proactively communicated was that this would result in multiple separately billed visits and hundreds of dollars in unexpected patient responsibility. After seeing the high-level claims in my insurance portal, I requested an itemized statement and billing/coding information from Lizaveta, the billing coordinator, so I could understand the charges submitted to my insurance. Instead, this turned into an exhausting back-and-forth where the requested information was repeatedly not provided. My issue is the lack of transparency, lack of proactive communication regarding billing implications, and how unnecessarily difficult it was to obtain basic billing documentation. As someone with endometriosis who unfortunately has extensive experience navigating healthcare billing and insurance, this was a simple request made unnecessarily difficult. While I have liked the doctors I've seen at Pure OBGYN, my interactions with the billing department have unfortunately left me with a very negative impression of the practice overall. Because of this experience, I would actively advise any friends, family, or other patients reading this from being seen at this practice.

On May 4th I arrived 17 minutes late to my appointment after taking two buses to get to their office. When I arrived I was told I would need to reschedule due to a late policy. I had not been made aware of this policy beforehand, and it does not appear to be clearly communicated anywhere. The front desk staff members were dismissive and unhelpful. I felt I was being denied care because I arrived 2 minutes after their grace period, a policy I wasn't aware of. Because I am on daily medication and needed a refill I insisted in asking for an exception so I could still be seen. The staff member in charge avoided interacting with me but I was eventually seen. During intake, I was told I was "too early" for my annual exam, which was confusing because I have never had that issue before. I was then told I was not due until later in the month, which added to the confusion and was not clearly explained. When I saw Dr. Peggy, I was told there may be a billing issue and uncertainty about insurance coverage. Later, I contacted my insurance provider and was informed that they cover preventive care without restrictions, which made the explanation I received feel inconsistent. Looking back I don't think she wanted to see me and used a possible billing issue to get me out of her office. Plus they took my vitals while I was very upset and changed my medication because of it, then blamed my medication for my blood pressure being high. I was told I wouldn't have symptoms of pain related to my condition by with the new medication. But after a week I stated experiencing symptoms related to my condition. I've been maintaining my condition and was on the same medication for 16 years with no problem or side effects before this. When I reached out for guidance, I was brushed off. I eventually spoke with Dr. Peggy but did not feel my concerns were fully heard or understood. Dr. Peggy did not feel my symptoms were gyn related and thought it might be something else. When I explained to her these are the symptoms related to my condition she didn't listen. I was in a lot of pain that was only getting worse and her response was to give me pain medication and go to the emergency to find out why. She asked me "what do you want me to do?" In a frustrated tone and told me my symptoms weren't related. This was very scary for me and traumatizing. I ended up consulting my previous OBGYN doctor who got me back on my medication immediately and scheduled my annual pap exam that Dr. Peggy did not want to perform early May. What Dr. Peggy failed to realize is that I've already undergone extensive medical exams and surgery that lead to a diagnosis and treatment plan to manage the condition. Overall, the experience I had this time around was very much "mean girl" energy. I felt dismissed at multiple points in a way I had never experienced here before or anywhere rather. I've brought up several concerns on two occasions in May and she either made excuses or didn't address it. I originally choose this clinic because of a tiktok review and I loved the care, professionalism, and respect I felt from Dr. Peggy 4 years ago. This recent experience did not reflect that same level of attentiveness I've experienced over the years. Trust Women's Health in 2026 is now a place that lacks of professionalism, staff has limited professional experience, lack of effective communication, lack of professional care and bed side manners. I started coming here when Dr. Peggy was part-time and only available in the evening, now her business has grown and they are fully booked and have no time, no patience, and no tolerance for things that may inconvenience them. I have other doctors who are fully booked and do not move in the same manner and are able to retain staff members. I am greatly disappointed with my experience. I noticed someone else posted a poor review around the same time as my visit, which indicates that my experience wasn't unique.
