This theater is in shambles, especially when compared to the Cinemark Dayton South theater. The "luxury" seating is all torn up, with patchy, greasy leather. Our seats in the back row had a missing middle arm rest; it was just gone. Perhaps someone stole it. We moved to the next seat over, and the recliners didn't work! Luckily the back row was empty, and our third seat move was acceptable, until I realized just how small the screen was and how far away we were. The theater we were in was super narrow and long. Your phone's screen would be bigger if you held it two feet in front of your face! Dirty floors. No cell phone policy, so grown adults can browse Instagram at full brightness the entire movie, and no staff gives a hoot! You can see the rows in front of you, unlike Dayton South, because Huber doesn't have walls in between the rows, just thin bars. The concession lines were absurdly long and they were severely understaffed by lazy people. They only had two registers open, but 8 people behind the counters, 6 of which were doing nothing. We will not be going back to this theater. It's not worth it. Crazy that the same Cinemark owns the Greene and Dayton South, they are LEAGUES nicer. read more

I'm an avid movie goer and the whole theatrical experience is everything to me so I take the outings more serious than the average person perhaps. That being said I realize having realistic expectations is important here, especially considering I'm in Huber Heights and not Los Angeles anymore where there's a greater sense of passion and care towards presentation and costumer service yet I can't help wonder at times how this location is still operable. The declines been noticeable during the last several years but more importantly the last several months. I'm not sure what the vetting process is for hiring staff but the current selection doesn't reflect Cinemarks brand well. Some are pleasant and courteous but others are unprofessional with cold stand off demeanors and incapable of listening to simple straight forward menu orders. It seems like high schoolers all work here with no desire to have any level of work ethic. Today upon my visit, I bought a bottled water and requested a tiny cup with ice to use. Mind you, not a small soda cup but a small child's plastic cup that I've received before but this time the lady sharply and rudely said "no, we have to charge for that" and walked away. As of 1/5/23 Cinemarks net worth is $1.06B. Aside from that minor annoyance, there's been numerous times with projection issues including out of focus presentations, file playback issues (problem with digital vs film) and poor sound control. These are the biggest inexcusable issues that are the main priorities of showing movies. The fabric on some of the recliners are torn and weathered to where you don't want to sit on them, exit signs by the doors near the screens are not lit as they should be, there's a beverage cooler by the concessions that hasn't worked in over 2 months that still hasn't been fixed or removed. It's become an overall tacky decor that's been overdue for a overhaul. The concessions itself is the absolute worst part of the whole ordeal, understaffed on weekends with long lines and no apologies. I dread having to order something and at times just don't even bother which is a shame considering you're losing a sale. I also wish management would implement a no cell phone policy once the actual movie starts as well as no talking or you're removed from the screening. Time and time again, I've witnessed adults more so than kids have their glaring phones shining light through a movie and talking like they're at home, stay home then if you can't show respect to others. Cinemark at The Greene is a perfect example of what this theater could be if it actually tried under the right leadership. I'd hate to start going there all the time rather than support my own local theater so hopefully some positive change will come with this new year. read more

Newsflash! They've renovated their seating and revamped their drink offerings! Gone with the old theater seats and in with the new plush recliners! They're so comfy, one guest fell asleep in the middle of Star Wars the Force Awakens (He was a loud snorer lol). Plus they've updated their ticketing system to allow you to choose and reserve your seats ahead of time. This is mainly due to the limited seating available in each theater. As I mentioned earlier, Rave has expanded it's drink offering to include beer and coffee drinks. Unfortunately their food menu is still popcorn and candy. I'm hoping that they're working to improve that as well. While it's pretty surprising that this pokey little theater is trying to be an luxury movie theater, so far all of the changes have been for the better. read more

We came to the theater for the first time tonight because of the luxury reclining seats and those were wonderful! They were very comfortable and it was really a treat to be able to recline like that. On the downside, all of the reviews that have complained about the extreme dirtiness were actually true! The floor was covered in popcorn debris and trash, even the counter where we made the purchases had sticky residue and trash on it that no one had bothered to wipe off or clean up. The garbage cans were overflowing in both the men's and women's bathrooms and each of the stalls as I walked past them in the women's room were dirty with toilet paper all over the floor. It really creeped us out and it's unfortunate because the movie theater has a lot going for it. read more

Have not dealt with staff as we purchase our tickets online but the last 2 times I have gone with my kids to this theater I was rather disappointed. The bathrooms are filthy and don't look like they have been cleaned in months. Some of the bathroom stalls are even missing the screws required to keep the door in place. I watched a group of 5 employees step past and over garbage while walking with brooms and dustpans as they were too busy talking to one another and trying to trip each other. Was in Ohio visiting family for the Thanksgiving Holidays and decided to catch a movie on Friday. So many issues with this theater: 1.Self Ticketing kiosks were down, only 3 of 6 working. 2. Concessions area was not clean at all. Popcorn, spilled soda, napkins, etc. on counters. Staff was not really interested in opening more registers or cleaning the areas that were dirty. 3. Theater looked as if it was not cleaned between movies, trash and popcorn were on the floor. On the way into the theater area, I witnessed a manager (he was in a shirt & tie) and an employee trying to hide a trash can that was leaking soda and commenting on how they would clean it after showings. 4. Women's Restroom was disgusting and smelled. Not the normal restroom smell, but the smell of being unclean. Napkins & trash overflowing, tissue pieces all over the floors, no seat protectors, wet floors, countertop riddled with paper towels and soap. Rest Areas have cleaner restrooms. It just seemed like the staff didn't care, they just clock in, do their time and go home. Would not recommend this theater to anyone. read more

We go to Rave about every other month to see a movie. We go on various times/ days. Most recently we saw Incredibles II on a weekday afternoon... the following points were true during that visit as well as during several prior visits: On the plus side: - LOVE being able to reserve seats online- choosing our seats is wonderful, and skipping the ticket line when we get there is also a plus - love the recliners, very comfortable The negatives: - concessions always take forever, and the staff always acts like they have better things to do than take your order (poor customer service) - concession area is usually messy with excessive amounts of food on floor - the rewards app that's supposed to collect points for concessions purchases rarely works while at the concession stand, but I have no problem getting it to work once we're seated in the theater read more

We come here a lot...its close, and we love the seat selection option and screen sizes. But thats about it. Now the worst part: there is absolutely not enough staff to sell concessions. So my advice: bring in your own food and drinks! Seriously i have spoke with management numerous times about the abysmal wait times to get concessions and they do not seem to care nor have a desire to hire more staff. They literally have 1-2 people working the concessions with over 30+ patrons in line waiting to pay out the wazoo and wait times exceed over a half hour making many patrons miss most of the movie! Seriously, bring in your own food and drinks and this place is acceptable at best. Most of the reviews here are accurate. I'm not from this area, but while visiting from out of town I decided to check out a recent flick. Upon arrival looking inside there was a HUGE line to get a ticket with only one person working behind the ticket counter. Thankfully they had 2 kiosks outside where I was able to purchase my ticket quickly. Once inside I decided to grab a beer (nice feature that they actually serve alcohol) and once again the line was HUGE with only 2 people working behind the counter at concessions. I decided to forget the beer as I did not want to miss any of the show. Granted spending $7 for a decent beer was money saved for me. When I finally arrived in to the theater itself it was absolutely filthy with popcorn all over the floor, from the moment you walk in to the seat itself. To be honest I don't think the theater itself has been cleaned for days by the look of it. On a positive note they do assign seats which is nice and the stadium style reclining seats are comfy. If I lived in this area I couldn't see myself coming back.. read more

The ticket counter guy was very friendly. We were happily surprised when he said Tuesdays were discount ticket days. didn't matter though because we just spent the money on the over priced concessions. I previously have enjoyed this theater as the seating is quite comfortable and you can choose and buy your seats online from home. However, today I took my daughter to see Frozen 2 and had purchased tickets in advance. Shortly after the movie began, the power went out and they evacuated the theater, quickly handing out rain check passes as people left. I realized when I got home that the rain day passes would not allow for reserve seating, which I had paid for, which was irritating. We decided to go to a later show that same day, and there were a good amount of seats available online before we left, though I couldn't reserve them with the passes they gave me. When we got there, it was just rows 1 and 2 available, which I would never choose. I wanted to just leave, but my daughter wanted to stay, so we did. I went to get a soda and waited nearly 30 minutes. Incredibly slow concessions. I have no desire to return any time soon. With customer service like this, they'll go the way of Blockbuster soon. read more

I love the reclining seats, and to be able to select your seat online. I'm only giving 1 star because even though you've paid for your tickets and selected your seats, you still have to go through a long line for them to print out tickets! Also, the concession counter is downright ridiculous! I stood in line with my 2 small grandkids for over 30 minutes on a weekday (around 11:00 am). My wife and I like this theater because of the spacious seating (there is ample space between the rows), reclining seats, and reserved seating. This makes facilitates planning by allowing us to arrive at the theater just before the movie begins and going directly to the seats we want. The downside of the reservation system is that the website does not provide the best indication of how far from the screen you are located (the screening rooms have different sizes and seating configurations). Additionally, the ticket prices are fair...we've paid more for less enjoyable settings. The only issue we have encountered at this theater (repeatedly) is the incredibly slow service at the concession stand. We have waited for more than 20 minutes more twice and at least 10 minutes during each of our other visits. read more

Some movies are good, others are crap. What makes one theater better than others? Nice recliners, assigned seating, and beer. This place is clean and concession prices are on par with other theaters. You could still buy a box of candy, popcorn or $4 semi warm coke product in a bottle at the ticket counter turned concession stand in the entrance. I can see trying to have some revenue coming in during this construction, but it comes off as amateurish and a money grab. You would think Rave would have more class. My wife and I have been here nearly every Tuesday since I retired two years ago. We have figured out the system and have few problems getting the seats we want. The theaters are wonderful and comfortable. I have never noticed cleanliness problems anywhere as some people have noted. Their single biggest problem is that they have the MOST INEFFICIENT concession system on the face of the Earth. It's not terrible on quiet early Tuesdays but even when they are staffed up for busy days you will be in line for 5, 10, 20 minutes just for basic stuff. The online ticket purchasing with assigned seating and the seats are the only thing going for this theater. There is only one entrance/exit to the road which creates a huge bottleneck and unsafe navigating conditions for drivers and pedestrians, even more so at peak evening times. The concession lines are always longgggg (good thing for reserved seating). The worst part are the bathrooms ~ they're completely unacceptable and unsanitary. I have been to this theatre 3 times since the holidays and it has only gotten worse. First time, eh ~ they have a few problems, but in subsequent trips, same toilets out of order but now (finally) with bags over them. Seriously, you can't unclog/repair a toilet in over two months?! And it's not just one stall! Then the final clincher today was that none of the paper towel dispensers worked and they had rolls of the brown paper towels (that should go in the dispensers) on the sink counter sitting IN water for EVERYONE to touch. The towels did not have perforations to easily tear, so you had no choice but to grab the roll. Little ones could not get towels on their own either. Lastly, there is NO reason for the women's rest room to smell like urine ~ further worsening the situation. Again, completely unacceptable and needs rectified immediately, especially in light of how much they are charging per ticket! read more

First of all I use to clean this theater (I left this theater over a year and a half ago) at night when all the showings were done and I can honestly say that I would not recommend anyone to come to this theater to watch a movie. This theater has problems with their OWN staff who do not do anything. I've witnessed multiple times ushers push the trash under the chair just so they don't have to pick it up, in the concession area they would leave trash and popcorn on the floor when they "cleaned" and would sit on the counters where people ordered. If anything was broken it would take days sometimes weeks to get it fixed. I'm not saying it's just the workers fault, sometimes it the people's fault why this theater is so gross they would just leave all their trash on the seats, sometimes shove it under the seats, or lay it behind the chair just so they don't have to carry their trash and throw it away. The people would trash the restrooms, women would pee everywhere so they didn't have to sit on the toilet seats as did men, and they would just throw their trash on the floor instead of the trash can. We tried to keep this theater as clean as possible but it would all be the same the very next day. So In conclusion they need to work on their staff (both workers and managers) and be just a bit more strict and work together to maintain a clean working environment and for people to at least pick up after themselves. read more
