My kids wanted to come here and I offered to drive because gas is so pricey and to make their lives a little easier. They are located about 1 hour from where we live but it was definitely worth the trip coming down. We arrived a few minutes before they opened and went inside right after the door was unlocked. It's not a very large store but they have quite an extensive collection of products. One of my kids was looking to possibly get a pair of boots and they carry Demonias (sp¿). My other kid was looking for a couple of outfits for an upcoming date. We went through all the boots and the only pair that was truly of interest wasn't available in their size so we opted to wait on those. My other kid on the other hand was able to find an outfit that they were happy with along with a couple of corsets. In the end they also bought some patches. The store has quite the variety of clothes for anyone especially if you are looking for something Goth or alternative. At my age I wasn't looking to buy anything but I did see quite a few things that I would have considered 40 or so years ago. Prices are right in line with what is expected for this type of merchandise so we were completely satisfied. There were a couple of employees there who were actually very helpful when I had questions for them. Check out was really easy. I can guarantee you that my kids will be back here for more products in the future. read more

Unlike other reviews about them I did not have the any problem with staff or service the counter staff was helpful and answered all my questions I even got nice jacket. They even had a community events board that let me know about upcoming events. They had cool clothe I'll be going back for my darker dress needs. read more

This store isn't goth or anything close to it like advertised and spoke about online, I wouldn't even really call their selection of clothing "clothing" it's all very costume-esque and feels like you're amongst a Halloween store trying to be casual than a store made for people into the metal and alternative fashion scene. Some prices were really high for what was very clearly faux or cheap scratchy material. Pompous employee, everyone else seemed decent smaller store as well. read more

Okay I hate to leave a fair review but... My wife and I went down to the store we never knew even was here, just found out by mistake so figured, why not try to find a local place to shop instead of always online? She's always looking for new boots as a goth does, fitting is important! So we go down, parking is fine no worries there, walk in without a greeting. We try to make some conversation with the two working the desk and they just had more interest in their own conversation than to have a chat with a possible new customer! Couldn't believe it, with such a small community of those who like the alt lifestyle you'd expect open arms as many are, but who knows maybe a bad day. They appeared to be heavily into industrial style and a large array of boots, however clothing was somewhat limited for our sizes. (We're both medium builds and had difficulty finding clothing). I wish they carried more of the options killstar has on their website, nicer button down shirts would be a great add in my opinion. I would have taken photos but honestly just didn't feel welcome at their store. I get it, punks, goths, whatever. But if someone came to our house full of oddities and what appears to be Halloween year round we would still be very friendly and hosts to our guests, hopefully next time we visit there will be a different tune! read more

Some crazy employee followed us out to the car accusing us of shoplifting! She took pictures of us and our vehicle screaming that she has video footage to prove we'd taken something. Like WOW - what is this person smoking? We took NOTHING. We looked around (it's all over priced and dingy smelling) so we left and even said "thank you" on our way out! I called a couple of days later inquiring about their "video footage" - obviously there was no such footage. The manager offered no apologies either! How awful! Do NOT shop here - the employees are hallucinating. Such an odd and crazy experience! Avoid this place at all costs. read more

So glad I made the trip out to this shop. They have a variety of clothes and accessories for various occasion or if you just like to wear clothes that are a bit edgy. I had no idea they had pirate clothes so the next time I need a new kilt or top I'll definitely check out Ravens and Rockers. I'd heard some good things about this place. They had a Huge selection of goth and steam punk wear, and I was thoroughly impressed with what I saw. That is until I saw on their re-sale rack an Alter-ego Corset. Alter Ego Corsets are lovely pieces of leather that are now available under a different name. What bothered me about this is that the price was tagged at $150.00. NOT a bad price for a leather, steel boned corset, until you realize that when they sold this item on Ebay (their main sales option back in the early 2000's) They sold for new between $100-130. This left a really bad taste in my mouth. Otherwise, they've got a great selection of clothing, in a variety of sizes, from a variety of manufacturers: Hellbunny, leg avenue, Tripp, the whole gamut is offered up. They describe themselves as Rock Star Fashion for stage, street, and club....which is a great way of saying that if you're into Gothic, Cyber, Metal, Punk, Vampire, Industrial, Rockabilly, Hardcore, Steampunk, Fetish, Pin Up, and Rocker styles that you'll likely find some costume inspiration here. The mother and daughter team of Shelley & Sheena have been offering retailing alternative fashions online, and in their store, as well as dressing the famous and infamous around the world since 1998. Shelley was a pioneering member of NYC's ground-breaking Punk movement from the late 1970's, and she has dressed numerous bands throughout her career. Daughter Sheena has a degree in Fashion design and marketing, and has worked at Ybor City's renowned gothic and alternative club, The Castle, for nearly a decade. I am an old goth lady. There are many other old goth men and women in Tampa Bay, so at least I am not alone. The club scene still exists and going strong. Some people grow out of i. Yet, there are some people like me, where the culture just stays with them forever... Yes, I try to keep it classy, but sometimes I just need to get goth- wit- it and sport ridiculous amounts of lace and make-up to melt in the Florida sun. Hidden way north on Florida Avenue, in an abandoned-looking shopping center is a wonderland of gothy goodness, called Ravens and Rockers. This mother and daughter owned store has merchandise and brands that are current and cover all scenes within the scene. There is also a large section for large girls, like me. For the quality of clothing, the prices are also a great value. I was in the store last weekend, and just hoping for something to pop out at me that I just had to buy. While I did not find anything, I will continue to go back over and over again. For men, at least 30% of the store space is taken up for men's merchandise. So check it out. If there is something not in your size, especially shoes, they will be happy to custom order for you. They even sell hairpieces and some really unique accessories and patches. Since the goth scene is so much based, it would be nice if they carried some music--- or even played the latest releases over the sound system and promoted the music. But, that is my only gripe. Even if you are visiting the area and want to know where to go to meet like-minded folks, you can check out their display of local fliers by the door to promote club nights. I wanted some corsets that I can wear when I need to stabilize my back. I cannot express how hard it is to find places that are friendly, clean, and have a staff that will actually help when it comes to plus size fashion. This place was exactly what I was looking for! I've driven by this place so many times and always meant to check it out and finally I did. They have some really cute goth/punk stuff, new and used. Anywhere from shoes and boots to corsets, dresses, pants, jewelry and more. The staff here are very friendly! Right off the bat I found myself in conversation with all three of them. They're very relatable and eager to help out. They explained their special Black Friday sales. They also weren't over bearing. It was very laid back. I really like that type of environment. The prices are what really stood out to me. There's a LOT of stuff for under $50! Gothy stuff tend to have a steep price attached to it. Ok, so this store has piqued my curiosity for a long time. Its in such an odd little plaza with hardly anything in it(expect one of my fav sushi spots). Below the name of the store on the sign it says something along the lines of "punk, steam punk(huh?) Gothic, etc". Not at all my style of clothes but I really wanted to see what it was all about. When I first walked in I was warmly greeted by a worker, which was appreciated, although I felt a little out of place in my non-alternative attire. I saw alot of black, alot of spikes, but the main thing is they have a pretty big variety of everything. Kind of like a hot topic store, but bigger and more selection id say. If I was into alternative wear this would be my one-stop shop. So for anyone searching for this particular style, id highly recommend ravens and rockers. read more

This is such a fabulous store, they had so many cute things. I'm a larger woman and they had a pretty sizable selection of things, it's just too bad that a lot of the sizes and sizing for these type of clothes is made very oddly or very small. I loved the steam punk things they had, including some really cute corsets and accessories. There were so many cute jackets and boots to look at, it's too bad I didn't find much in my size (I wear a size 10W or 11 in shoes) and that I was traveling and couldn't really purchase too many things. I found a great Ministry shirt I really wanted but just couldn't get. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, she even complimented me on a silly hat I put on. I definitely plan on stopping by for another visit on my next trip to Florida, which will hopefully be soon. read more

Good selection of corsets and fetish wear for the alternative scene. The only complaint I have is there isn't enough larger sizes in the men's line. Lip Service runs a smaller size than it actually is. I am glad to see some more stuff from Tripp! Hopefully we will see a few more lines in the near future.
