He was nervous & stressed & the owner went out of her way to help him get comfortable for the 9 days that he was there. She even took him home with her at the end of the day to stay nights with her to help alleviate his stress. She kept me updated daily & sent pictures. I don't think I could have found a better place for him to stay while we were away & their prices are very reasonable. He even got a free bath for being there at least 7 days. Highly recommend!

I've never reviewed a vet clinic before, but here goes…read more.. The building is small, but easy to get to. There's only about 3 exam rooms. Some of the Veterinarians are better than others. Their prices are reasonable. A checkup for my dog is $35 +vaccines, or any medication that's needed. I say that some of the veterinarians are better than others because the vet we initially saw gave us the wrong diagnosis. She did recommend other testing because she 100% positive what was wrong with our pet. When we brought our pet back for follow-up testing, after a week of coping with the much more grim and incorrect diagnosis, we saw a different vet. She was very thorough and knows her stuff. She got answer and then double checked to make sure she was giving us the right answer. Now our pet is on the way to recovering from something that we were initially told would take its life. The staff at the desk is nice. Most of the vet-techs are female, which helps if your pet is shy.

They listen carefully and don't rush through the appointments. In the past 1-1/2 years we have had to euthanize three of our elderly pets. Several weeks ago we had to take my special little dog in to be euthanized. The entire staff was so compassionate. Their hugs and kind words meant so much to me. We've tried different vet clinics before them but they are by far the best we have found. I highly recommend them.

I made a reservation over Christmas and confirmed the reservation with the new owner (via email) in early March. Since I noticed a few of my dog's shots were not up to date, I made a veterinary appointment two days prior to my dog's boarding with Chelstars and got his shots up to date. When my wife arrived at Chelstars, three hours before our plane was to leave, the dog was denied entry since the shots happened less than two weeks ago. My wife was told that this rule was posted on the website (a picture of the website is attached). We were successful in having to find an alternative placement in less than an hour. Since I have had a four year relationship with the facility, I called the owner about future boarding. This is when Emi Jo mentioned my wife was swearing at the employees. While my wife was probably frustrated, she does not swear (and almost never loses her temper). My wife also vehemently denies it. I would bet my life on the words of my wife. Granted, I may have sworn and lost my temper, but... I was not there. We will not be returning! I will pay extra money to work with a facility that knows how to tell the truth about a website and doesn't make up fairy tales.

Not only is he smart and a fast learner, but has a solid, sensible demeanor and stable, balanced temperament. He takes everything in stride and adapts to any situation. He will be certified as a brace and mobility service dog as soon as he is old enough to have his hips and elbows done. He is very healthy with no pano, allergies, or GI issues (that often plague GSD). I highly recommend Gypsy Miracle and Jenny Otto to anyone looking for a German Shepherd!

Lots of medical questions) when I called to make an appointment to have my dog spayed using laparoscopic surgery and the person I spoke with was tremendously kind, helpful, and friendly. The quote she gave me was extremely reasonable and the next available appointment was in less than 2 weeks. I am excited to work with this clinic again soon.
