I made a reservation over Christmas and confirmed the reservation with the new owner (via email) in early March. Since I noticed a few of my dog's shots were not up to date, I made a veterinary appointment two days prior to my dog's boarding with Chelstars and got his shots up to date. When my wife arrived at Chelstars, three hours before our plane was to leave, the dog was denied entry since the shots happened less than two weeks ago. My wife was told that this rule was posted on the website (a picture of the website is attached). We were successful in having to find an alternative placement in less than an hour. Since I have had a four year relationship with the facility, I called the owner about future boarding. This is when Emi Jo mentioned my wife was swearing at the employees. While my wife was probably frustrated, she does not swear (and almost never loses her temper). My wife also vehemently denies it. I would bet my life on the words of my wife. Granted, I may have sworn and lost my temper, but... I was not there. We will not be returning! I will pay extra money to work with a facility that knows how to tell the truth about a website and doesn't make up fairy tales.

When we picked up our other golden Rob expressed to us how terrible everyone felt about what happened (no fault of Chelstars, and not preventable) that he excused our entire bill, which was in the tune of almost $400. It's hard to find a business that puts people and their feelings before the almighty dollar, and that spoke to me! We will continue to do business with them! They have always loved on our "kids" and we appreciate it so very much!

We brought our dogs here for the first time this week for three nights of boarding and three days of daycare while we were near Fond Du Lac for work. First, the staff (or owners?) at Paws Playtime were super helpful and went out of their way in arranging a drop-off time since we were coming from far out of town. The place seemed very clean, and that seems evident in the pictures, as well. When we picked up our dogs after three days and three nights, they were still very clean, too! The indoor rubber floor seems great for their feet, and there is a grassy area outside, which is great. (Our dogs play hard, and one once wore her pads raw at a place that was pavement only, so Paws Playtime has a great set-up.) I called several times during the three days, pretty much being an overly nervous mother, and the person who answered the phone was very patient with me and willing to discuss how my dogs were doing :) When we picked up our dogs, they seemed happy and tired! Lastly, Paws Playtime's prices were very reasonable. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place for their dogs during the day or overnight.

He was nervous & stressed & the owner went out of her way to help him get comfortable for the 9 days that he was there. She even took him home with her at the end of the day to stay nights with her to help alleviate his stress. She kept me updated daily & sent pictures. I don't think I could have found a better place for him to stay while we were away & their prices are very reasonable. He even got a free bath for being there at least 7 days. Highly recommend!
