We did a little outlet shopping at the Design Outlet next to the Salzburg Airport. It was roughly a 25 minute bus ride from the Alstadt area The Ravensburger Outlet Store contained a huge collection of their puzzles from a couple hundred pieces to over ten thousand plus. Everything was discounted at least 30% and neatly arranged on shelves according to the category (landscape, pets, etc). The best bargains were stacked high on a table, priced at 5 Euros each when buying at least 4 boxes). Many of these included Disney and Star Wars themes with up to 3000 pieces. For an even bigger discount you could buy bags of puzzles without any boxes or poster if up to challenge of puzzling without any printed references or tight on luggage space!
