Dear Yelpers, Bought ravioli here in 1999, & have not forgotten the taste of the ravioli. Unforgettable Ravioli. It's a thing. At least at Ravioli Fair. One bite & WHOA - love at first bite. The ravioli was freshly made, & to reference reviewer Michael G, if it had been a drug, I would've OD'd......but with cheese on my nose. I may have dreamt of myself as Scarface a few times, a ravioli mountain sitting in front of me. The place is in Brooklyn's Italian neighborhood (erm..1 of them?), & was right across the street from where I was staying. If I remember right, it was just steps away from the Mona Lisa bakery on 86th Street, & (according to Google) was established in 1979. I believe it was 'Steve' the owner that I ordered the ravioli from. I've eaten ravioli from many different restaurants since, & had ravioli in Rome last year, but in all honesty, I've yet to taste ravioli that trumps Ravioli Fair's. This is a family owned and run business and these guys are amazing ! They are not only good people reliable and in point they cook great authentic Italian food and pasties they do everything you need for catering love them !!!! I have used them for church and work ! And they are affordable and give a lot of food !!! read more

I did not like it. Wasn't satisfied I ordered 1 thong they gave me another. They put peas on the ravoli. The salad too dry. There was feathers on the chocken wings. Yuck. Not for us. read more

I wish I could give this place 6 stars! Also, they have recently moved and are not closed. The new location is 7924 16th Avenue. I have ordered catering from here for years and have never had a bad experience. The owner Steve always goes out of his way to make sure everything is great. This place is the Mecca for people like me. If food were a drug, I would have a problem and ravioli Fair would be my place of choice to score. No matter how many times I come here, Steve always has something new that he "just made" and he is always willing to give you a sample without you ever having to ask. This time around he had just made some fresh stromboli. Still warm, it was full of capicolla, ham, proscuitto, mortadella, pepperoni and cheese. Heavenly and delicious. I also ordered the standard box of small and large ravioli, some arancini, fried eggplant, and some caponata. Some of the items did not make it home. More reason for me to return! read more

Why use anyone else? I have been a loyal customer of Ravioli Fair for quite some time. I generally use their catering services for corporate functions. Their food is delivered hot, fresh and on time. I have never worked with a catering company that has such a dedication to service and an ability to do an excellent job every time. There is a good old fashioned approach to customer service as I am made to feel that my needs and requests are their highest priority. I especially love their Lemon chicken and of course their ravioli is fantastic. No one cooks as good as mom but these guys come pretty close. read more

I normally go to Pastosa but sometimes I'll come here for a change of pace. They have pretty decent fresh and frozen ravioli. I've never tried any of their other products. Usually I stop in here if I'm making a trip to Mona Lisa since it's only a few blocks away. read more

I have used these place for years for catering. The owner Steve is great. He is always on time. Food is always good. He takes credit cards. You can call up there and order catering 2 hours before the event and they will be there on time. My favorite is the Baked Ziti and the Chicken Parm. This is a great place for catering. read more

If you need catering, Steve has you covered. Everyone goes wild for the eggplant. No one knows how to get around this city for deliveries better than they do. Forget Panera's. This place does not even deserve a star , we catered thanksgiving from Ravioli Fair and the food was in edible . When I was carving the horribly dried out turkey , I found the giblets still in the paper package in the cavity ! Can you imagine ? The hot antipasto platter looked and tasted like hell. They fried calamari was on the bottom , they then piled baked clams , eggplant rollatini , stuffed mushrooms all atop each other . Yuck yuck yuck. The only gave fried broccoli and fried cauliflower and no other greens . Thank god for the green salad , it was the only thing they didn't screw up. It was also the only thing I ate. The promised a pumpkin pie but gave us an Entemanns apple instead. At least we knew we could rely on Entenmanns. The yams were from a can as well as the cranberry sauce , you could still see the indentations from the can , they didn't even bother to hide it. Gross is too kind a word. Ravioli Fair has "THE BEST" fresh mozzarella in Brooklyn. When you buy it still warm from just being hand made, it brings me back to the fresh mozzarella i had in Sorrento and Napoli. Find them at their new location. They did not close, just moved a few blocks away. read more

The food was magnificent, I have never tasted eggplant and or chicken parmesan as good as theirs. They were early, set up, and ready to serve in a matter of ten minutes, people are still raving about the food till this day. I highly recommend them, I have never been to their restaurant, my office is located in Harlem, however they catered to my office for several events and they were absolutely fabulous. Ravioli Fair had the best sandwiches we ever tasted. Every Friday we use to go in, and get a here guts out oil and vinagar on both sides, suprasossta, provolone and roasted peppers. The guys were awesome, very polite and respectful. I miss does days. Can't get a good sandwich anywhere any more. read more
